This is one of the first vids I've watched all the way through in a min. That combo he did in the last game when he hit you with tagged Cable and finished with AHVB was crazy.

Wow. That's the first time I ever see that Cable AHVB corner combo from the first match. Had no idea that was possible.

KhaosdragonPSN - He did a lot more than just infinites in these matches. His zoning and knowledge of normal attack priority is on an advanced level. He is definitely the best BH I have ever fought against.

I always get the timing wrong on that Black Heart SJ. Demons infinite. I'm guessing the player purposely misses with the first batch of demons to allow the second batch to connect and keep the infinite going?

vidfreak727 he misses the second batch on purpose to reset the comvo for more damage. it is easily mashable and can be escaped on the arcade. fpr some reason it is hard to get out of it on xbox live.

I thought this infinite cannot be escaped in the arcade version. I've tried several times to no avail. If Black Heart super jumps, my character is stuck in hit stun and unable to get out.

Yup. Can't get out of it if it does not make the small bounce to and from the ground.

NostalgiaXOXO - Thanks for watching my videos. I'd like to play you someday. I don't have MvC2 for PS2. I play on Xbox 360 and Dreamcast. Since you want to play me I suggest you find an Xbox 360 that has MvC2 saved on the hard drive. MvC2 cannot be bought on the XBL Marketplace anymore.

People keep claiming doom is top tier but I don’t agree. I think he’s mid since he gets mauled by other characters. His doom was Taken out so fast.

Doom is definitely a top tier character. Voiceofthesou1 does not have a great Doom. Watch videos of Worldmatchue playing Doom.

Only online. On dreamcast and arcade you can mash out of them.

Wait... why didnt you mash out of the demons when he went for the reset? People mash out of that all the time. you couldve won a lot more matches if u mashed out. Maybe bh has a glitch on xbox or something. Alli know is on the arcade, that reset is a non factor and can be mashed out

I attempted to mash out to escape Blackheart's demons in these matches. I realized long ago (2009~2010) that the hitstun properties of BH demons on XBL/PSN is drastically different than that of his demons on Dreamcast/Arcade. Expert Blackheart players are aware of that and exploit it to the fullest just as VoiceOfTheSou1 did in these matches. When timed correctly, Blackheart can perform a plethora of completely inescapable demon resets on XBL/PSN. It is really annoying to fight against but since this port was programmed that way there isn't anything that anyone can do to change it. Apparently Stiltman (a high level West Coast BH player) was on the development/testing team for the XBL/PSN versions of MvC2. Therefore it's likely that he either changed the hitstun properties of the demons or he saw there was an issue with the hitstun properties but chose not to say anything about it. One more thing is that on ALL versions of MvC2, when a character is in hitstun from BH demons and is bouncing (not in a standing state) they cannot mash out to escape the demons. The same principle applies to characters who get stuck in midair from Magneto's hp mold throw.

BrettH123 ha. Thats what i thought. Gotta be a glitch on the demons. Thats not skill, thats just cheap. Lets face it, bh was good back in 2003 until everyone knew how to maneuver around him. Since then hes been a non factor.

Bill Valence - Yes it is cheap in a way. However, that's just one exploit of MvC2 Online. It definitely boosts Blackheart's viability in the online metagame but he is by no means unbeatable. There are other examples of characters who are more deadly online: - Magneto and Storm's trijump lk to cr lk is often damn near impossible to block online due to the fact that the inputs for attacking register slightly faster than the inputs for blocking. As an MSP/MST player I exploit that frequently without shame. - Tron (proj) assist is diabolical online due to random lag spikes which often allow Tron assist to hit your point character and your assist even if you were blocking before the lag occurred. - Sentinel's stomps and fullscreen flying lk are too damn effective online. Especially when paired with Mando AAA. Oftentimes the robot teleports (again due to lag) and then smacks you with a 50-65% life fast fly combo. These are a few examples but believe me there are many more. As you can see there are significant differences in the online versions of MvC2 which allow for certain characters to be more dangerous and effective than usual. Honestly I don't believe it's right to blame Blackheart players for exploiting the demon resets online since it is part of the game and other characters can do deadly stuff too. As for your final statement, that is a blatant exaggeration and oversimplification. Though it is true that Blackheart became less viable after 2001/2002, he is still quite capable as a Top Tier character and there have been several exceptional Blackheart players over the years even up until the present day. Blackheart Prince, Blackheart King, Jaminis, Stiltman, VoiceOfTheSoul (aka BlackCrack) and more. Even in the DC and Arcade versions of MvC2, MSP players and Magneto players in general ha be to play extremely strategically and patiently to beat advanced Blackheart players. Blackheart's normals counter Magneto's normals FREE in most cases. When Blackheart has Cyke AAA, Doom AAA or Mando AAA backing him he is a nightmare for MSP. All he needs is ONE demon to hit and it's a free demon infinite to HoD (total damage = 70 - 80%) and if he has a meter for DHC then it's a Reynolds wrap for Magneto Storm or Psylocke.

BrettH123 facts, but my statement was not exaggerated at all. Bh is a non factor today on arcade and dc. Yes he can be annoying, but i feel like u couldve won more matches had this been on dc or arcade. Thats all im saying man. Im taking online gaming out of the equation so all those advantages of all those other characters u mentioned doesnt matter to the arcade or dc. Most people money match and have tournaments on dc anyway. Not online. And i dont play online cuz of shit like this.

Bill Valence - I definitely would have performed better on DC/Arcade. However, to say BH is a non-factor is simply not true. The players I mentioned are all capable of hanging with and beating high level MSP, MSS, Thrax, Scrub and Matrix players.
