“Now do it again”

I want to see more of MikeZ streaming and talk about various fighting games just to explain what is good and what is flawed and why. Also i really want to see him do some Skullgirls charater move creation streams! Be we all know the guy is super busy and a hard worker. I would be nice anyway if he had the time.

He went over a bunch of things like this at a panel at the last UFGT kzread.info/dash/bejne/maSMycOncbDFoaQ.html if you haven't seen it yet. Also, I think character move creation has more to do with the art team than just him alone.

Naw, this was incredibly helpful. I suppose if you aren't making a game or switching between these games it would be lame... but this is solid gold info on many levels to devs and pros.

he was right, these were things i had in muscle memory but didn't know of the technical reasons. 😂 arcades were wild, we just played and learned to do things that worked. greatly appreciated

So at what point during the push block can I super jump out of HSF? Frames happen way too fast for my eyes to see, so I'll probably need some form of guide.

vidfreak727 you need to push-block right before the first wave of drones, Then SJ in between the second and third wave. Much easier to do with Cable for practice. Different characters have different block-stun times which require you to push-block slightly earlier or later before the first wave. -iR0N1K

he made a better version of mvc2. i want him to make a better version of every 2d fighter. i think he could.

Why didn’t he include a Magneto like character Why not someone with flight modes?

Technically, Filia is supposed to be the "Magneto" character, and Painwheel can fly/unfly, but she doesn't keep flight if she cancels into a move while in flight. From my understanding, flight is crazy strong in MvC2 and Mike Z didn't want to create a flight character to be too powerful so he erred on the side of making it weaker. Painwheel couldn't even unfly until later versions of the game.

People learn in different ways... this might be your way of learning Wiley... you're just too thickheaded or have an attention span less than a gnat to understand what's being brought up.
