@@darokdeed Most of the content in there is rap and not really any pure singing, even the covers that she does on that channel is rap. She was singing choruses but they were a lot simpler. She did improve a lot, not only on the singing field but on the rap as well. She had inconsistent flow back then but now the way she structures her flow is consistent and all of them are bangers, at least imo.

There's something really charming about calli's japanese, it's not native yet not exactly broken, which gives an uncanny valley vibe which I'm really enjoying lol

@@post_low not really, I listen to a lot of jp rap, most of them are guys, but I can tell that they're japanese. But calli's accent(undertone, idk what it's called) is quite foreign/non-japanese, and I think it sounds really cool, since there's aren't many songs like hers

@@papahusky1263 Shion's cover, in my opinion, captured the spirit of the original the best, while still making it her own. It has more of a vibe of looking back with contempt and satisfaction at those that got her way, rather than railing against them in the present.

Yeah, the original message of this song is basically a commentary on predatory Japanese work culture. In order to move up in the world you have to pull others down. However once you reach the top you now have the biggest target on your back

You can really hear how much Mori has improved at singing, she really sounds perfect for this song. With a gritty and deeper voice than Milky Queen, but still sounds very nice especially in japanaese.

So happy that Calli is getting to collab with so many of her friends, first being boogey vox and now Milky Queen! I wonder if they will stick with the same singing routine they did in karoke or switch it up for this cover, I can't anticipate any longer!
