RV and Twice were always going to have more successful debuts because their large companies have so many people waiting to see who they debut, so they get a lot of attention from the start. But I think OMG will do well too, their songs have all been really good so far and their views are growing.

Just watching this for some throwback. I've been a fan since their debut year during Closer era. These are the good'ol days, Oh My Girl's humble beginnings! Now, they are so successful and well-known, topping charts and getting different awards and recognitions! So happy for them. This is Jine's last comeback with the group though. 이런저런 댓글들이 뭐지 하고 몇몇분들이 궁금해 하실까봐 대충 설명하자면 2000년 5명이 구성원이었던 파파야의 내 얘길 들어봐 가 원곡이고 (2001년 3명으로 2집 사랑 만들기를 내고 해체) 2004년 대만의 신디 왕이 ai ni 라는 제목으로 번안을 하는데 대만 뿐 아니라 중국까지 상상을 초월하게 엄청 유명해집니다. 2016년 오마이걸이 리메이크를 하는데 대만과 중국인들이 중국노래를 베꼈다고 댓글 공격을 하다가 파파야 뿐만이 아니라 이정현의 썸머댄스등도 무지 베꼈다는걸 알고는 아니면 말고 배째라 식의 소동이 있었습니다. 참고로 파파야 멤버들은 활동할 때 1년반 동안 월급도 없이 힘들었는데 그 때 파파야의 매니저였던 사람이 지금 소속사 사장이어서 안타까운 마음도 반영되어서 리메이크 하지 않았나 싶네요.

It's a remake Since the manager of Papaya became WM's boss he probably led the project of remaking the song. (and the producer of the song became Jellyfish Ent.'s boss)

Cyndy wang never told the fact that the song was remaked. even though the song become famous and she earns much money. Cindy was not pay the copyright. When she sang the song in 2004, Papaya and their company was disbanded already. Oh my girl's CEO(Lee won-min) was Papaya's manager. It is the reason why OMG remake the song. Original song(Papaya - Listen to me(2000))'s composer is Hwang se-jun. He is CEO of Jellifish Entertainment(Vixx, Gugudan). He arranges directly the song for QMG this time.

Whats really bothering me is the fact that MIRACLES and other viewers are against each other about the cover of the song... The girls prepared this amazing homage to Papaya as well as early 90s/2000s kpop music, yes a taiwanese singer covered the song, but please get facts straight, everyone and anyone who was part of the creation of the original song was payed and payed well may i add, in terms of property, all rights belong to Papaya, lyricists and producers that made the song, when Cyndi the taiwanese singer covered it, she bought the rights to the music and covered it in mandarin, please separate those who are chinese and those who are taiwanese, they maybe of the same ethnicity but they are a different entity, I'm not taiwanese but i am from Hong Kong and we get mistaken as mainlanders all the time and that pisses us off! 1. Cyndy wang never told the fact that the song was remaked. 2.Cindy was not pay the copyright. When she sang the song in 2004, Papaya and their company was disbanded already. 3. At first, korean was silent. but taiwanese continue to insist on the saying the song was cindy's. 4. It should not only admit to the fact that yes we are keeping silent.

hattrick79 First of all, it is not Cyndy's job to specify if she covered the song or not, you don't see Ariana Grande telling Mariah Carey's team that she's about to cover her song EMOTION! she just did it without telling anyone. Secondly when she covered it it was also an homage. Thirdly, Cyndy's label would've paid for the copyright and not herself obviously just because labels may have had deals between each other in the past doesnt mean it doesnt go unnoticed. It is against the law if copyright isn't paid, i would know since i worked in the music copyright field for quite some time. Taiwanese people probably weren't aware of the situation at the time, they would be more vocal now and if anything OHMYGIRL would've paid Papaya and their writers this time around and thats all that matters, people should pay attention to OMG's comeback its a sign of respect, their homage is to Papaya, not Cyndi. The focus is on them, people, stop diverting the attention and negativity elsewhere

Consider changing your stance. Even the music of Hong Kong claimed that other country is self Will you be silent ? The Taiwanese's copy the songs of Korea is not once or twice . I do not hear that your comment is fair . If you have at least respect the Korea music, you must not say so . The reply claims that Taiwan is still one in a few minutes.Taiwanese ignore though fully described and claimed. Is not this a bad thing?

hattrick79 Im not changing my stance because we're taking the attention away from OHMYGIRL, i can confidently state that HK singers rarely if ever cover other oversea artists and if so they treasure their business between both artists because its a friendship between HK and the foreign country, everyone gets paid individually without the public knowing, again referring back to Ariana Grande, she never spoke about paying Mariah Carey, but we all know Mariah gets paid heavily after Ari's homage to her through EMOTION. Just because you don't the details doesnt mean it doesnt happen. And i can confidently state, HK as well as Taiwan's pop culture is very intertwined with Korea's, we have a very close cultural friendship with Korea and we would never do anything to ruin that. Anyone who knows asia well can vouch for that! Again, all I'm doing is turning the attention back to the homage towards Papaya and our girls, Miracles hear me out and stop all this nonsense!

Miracle! if you haven't seen the special stages on Kbs by Twice and OMG yet, you guys got to!!! Omg like they both did justice to each other's song so well!! Jiho was extra pretty and Hyojung is just as happy and jumpy today 😂, my favorite moment was Arin doing Shy shy shy 😍😍. Everybody looked so beautiful, but sad we couldn't see JinE, she would have been great too! Anyway im just so happy OMG and Twice get to do stuff like this, I love both groups and hopefully this opportunity will give OMG more exposure so ppl can stop sleeping on them. Rise girls!! 💖💖💖

honestly If WM didn't hiatus OMG after Aing era, they will go big. Aing is their highest Charted song in Gaon digital Chart (Before Nonstop) also, this single album is the One and only OMG album that reach at no.1 in Gaon album chart, but yeah its understandable why they do that since they wait JinE to recover. I hope WM learn from the past and dont cut the momentum of OMG Popularity.

Bought 2 copies from ebay (other fans buy more to complete the card sets). To be honest it'll be hard to get 1st immediately because of Hyuna and the Olympics. We need a Hani-like event to happen. YooA is going on Radiostar so we have that to look forward to.

true! i take it you've listened to their other title tracks, so you should also listen to their whole _pink ocean_ album, the songs on there are all equally refreshing 👌👌👌 one of my favourite minis this year. or you should just go ahead and listen to _windy day_, their repack album. it's got all the songs in pink ocean plus windy day & stupid in love.
