Mamamoo is totally THE ONLY group that blew me away. I've been amazed by a lot of groups before for their skills, but then Mamamoo came into my life and just..... they just effing blew away my world. I can never look at other groups without thinking "they're good, but side-by-side with Mamamoo, they are..nahh"

I have the same reaction now. I listened to tons of Korean music from 90s to now and there are amazing solo voices to follow but for one dance pop group to perform the way they do changed all 20 years of how I listen to others now. noel, 4men, Brown eyed soul, vibe, sg wannabe, davichi, as one, and a bunch of amazing vocal groups exist in the korean industry but a pop group? sistar was top imho until mamamoo popped up. some other kpop fans will mention spica as another super voiced dance group but their songs and stage presence just don't match sistar or mamamoo

In all their OST so far, Moonbyul never had her part. But in their fan meeting, she would suddenly pop up and drop the beat in between them singing lol. In a ballad song like this, I don't think she could insert her rap though. So Moonbyul, you have to sing for us fans ...please...

@@allsies7890 Yeah, I know. But Solar had to put a lot of effort into becoming the vocalist she is today. She's an effort singer within Mamamoo, as is Moonbyul. Wheein and Hwasa have plenty more talent, obviously. It's just that even if one has talent, one must continue practicing a lot to _attain_ and _maintain_ the richness, techniques, sustainable notes, etc. that they're able to. Nobody just magically gets that. That stuff isn't innate. It's trained. In the end, talent helps speed the process, but it's up to the person to keep improving. Saying that it's all 'talent' for any artist is an insult because it disregards all their time and effort. It's worse when people say that they could never do the same. Many artists want to inspire or express themselves. People who say it's all talent obviously aren't getting the message. (same is said for visual artists; same is said for musicians; same is said when calling academically well students geniuses) (yes, many are talented and/or are geniuses, but some actually may not have been and had been extremely dedicated; calling people talented/geniuses make it easy for others to never try, to give up from the start) (honestly, there are _way better ways_ to compliment people than to say they're talented/geniuses/naturally gifted) Yeah, sorry for rambling. Not much has to do with what you said. Just wanted to get that off my chest. (also, obviously talent is something you're born with; that's literally part of the definition xD)

@@hiddensheepy8736 I agree with everything you said, but I still think it’s a compliment to say one is naturally gifted. That does not disregard the determination and effort bts. And yes, people that are born singers are just “magically” that good. Of course you have to work hard in order to improve that talent but it’s a fact that some are just born with more talent. I feel like if you were a singer you’d understand where I’m coming from. Comparing singers to musicians and academically well students isn’t an accurate comparison in my opinion. Idk how to explain it but it’s not the same thing to me.

Solar Wheein and Hwasa! Their voices are just HEAVEN I think this is one of the most beautiful songs ever

Their voices are angelic. They're giving me Mariah Carey vibes. Esp when Solar hit those high notes but Wheein & Hwasa are no joke either. They can sang as well. Oh and I know I'm late...lol

Raw emotion+powerful vocal = beautiful masterpiece. I always end up crying when they sing together. Out of many Kpop idols, they are the only ones who could make me feel something when they sing, although I don't know what they're singing about

I always come back to this when I am ready to give up and walk away from everything. Mamamoo always talk me off the ledge. How can I go another day without hearing this?? The moment a song tugs at your soul and reminds you that you have a purpose in this world and that you are not allowed to give up until that is fulfilled.

I just discovered this and I am impressed with Hwasa's high head voice. Hwasa needs to use that high head voice more often, that is golden😍😍😍

I am just finding out about this song. I only found out about Mamamoo in November 2019 and I have been trying to play catch up. I keep coming across songs I never heard before makes me happy and sad at the same time but hey better late than never right
