Ten years later my love from the star still has that rewatchable quality. Fantasy dramas has evolved a lot but this one stil stands the test of the time. A mix of all romantic comedy elements this drama was able to create a supernatural hero in the midst of most realistic setting. Do min joo accent and attitude and wide array of knowledge represented his 400 yrs of life in the earth. Kim Soo hyun has done a fantastic job in that role. I almost believed he was an alien😂. Jun ji hyun as a sassy celebrity with an headstrong personality was a memorable character. Her comic timings and emotions were always on point. Thank you my love from the star for such a beautiful story. It was magical, humorous and bittersweet. I cried, laughed and smiled❤

This dude never ages. He still looks the same today and rocking them abs still.

This is perhaps the best drama I have ever watched in my whole existence. Somehow this is different from other dramas I've watched. It left me empty, in both good ways and bad. It left me heartbroken, and it made me fckng cry 2 days after I finished the drama (yes, two days after. You know the feeling when one night you drink alcohol too much but you didn't have the urge to puke on that night then two days later you didn't know you still have that hangover feel, so you puke). Yes, this was me. I cried 2 days *after* finishing the series because damn all the right feels are in there. All the emotions and stuff like *uggh* I just needed to let it out you know.

Yes you are right .This K-drama is just superb ...if you watch it a month later ........ curiosity starts developing more and more even when you know the story . The lead roles pair is just" WOW". Love Kim Soo hyan aka Do min joon. He's cuter than all the actors I have seen. Cheon song is too funny. Their chemistry is overflowing. Jun Ji Hyun was his best drama partner/female lead until now. My love from the star was the best fantasy/romcom drama of all time. This was really phenomenon during 2013 to 2014. It also received different awards especially the Daesang. Many asian countries had adaptation of this drama.

Kim Soo Hyun has a really distinct, unique look and he's pretty much beautiful. Great pick for an alien (visually). This drama is crack but people, don't sleep on Miss Korea!

This is why I can't watch K-dramas. I stop studying, look up soundtracks, find music to soundtracks, and then I watch more k-dramas, and then I fail my tests XDDDDD K-DRAMA, WHY YOU SO ADDICTING?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Kim Soo Hyun is the standard of a handsome

Truly the best Kdrama for me. All episodes are amazing and I couldn't get enough of it! The chemistry between the two leads are so good that I couldn't get over. I finished watching it again last week, it's my 4th rewatch since 2013. Now I'm gonna wait for some time to watch it again. I hope it's not too late for Kim Soo-Hyun and Jun Ji-Hyun to be together in a drama again. love this sm

It's okay to not be okay is really good, but this is still the best series of Kim Soo Hyun for me. The feels, butterfly in the stomach, the comedy, the drama and other more are still the same even if you watch it again and again. The drama, songs, casts, especially the leads, Jun Ji Hyun and Kim Soo Hyun! This really is top tier! I can't believe that these two are the most paid actress and actor right now. I hope for them to have a reunion in a new drama where the two of them are the leads. Can't even imagine how good will it be. It's okay to not be okay can also on par it if the ending wasn't that rush. I just think it didn't made sense how Ko Mun Young's mother is still alive after she fell from stair, (or second floor?) and got thrown in the sea. I would believe it more if it was her mother's sister seeking for revenge. They didn't really explain how she was alive back then so I wasn't satisfied on that part, but still the whole drama is good!

@wakawaka i think since his father was suffering from tumor and everything was shown from his perspective so plotholes can be ruled out because now he may not remember what exactly happened, he just remembered it vaguely maybe she wasn't that severely injured and got to escape from the basement and mun yeong was still a child when she saw her body so it makes sense to believe that she didn't die that day it's just how both mun yeong and her father remebered the incident. Later she got plastic surgery (she herself admitted that in the show). It's still doubtful though cause the makers themselves never revealed this.

it's 2021 and as someone who usually watches american/british tv, mlfts is still the best kdrama i've ever watched. nothing i watched after this came close to compare. so unique, well thought-out and poignant, nothing like any other romance-focused kdramas out there. they truly did an amazing, unbelievable job with this one - bet it wasn't expected but it is so well deserved

I don't want to sound annoying and stuff, but still why compare ppl's beauty?? Yeah she might look gorgeous, but nevertheless I don't find it okay to just say that others in their 20s are less beautiful, in my opinion everyone is beautiful in their own way and we shouldn't praise someone for their beauty while bringing others down. I really hate this mindset. I hate it when some of us see celebrities way above us, when they are actually just the same. My favorite scene is where the lift door opens and they see each other. I don't know why I am smitten by that scene. And this dramas has the best epilogues.

K Dramas are a breath of fresh air. Western critics rave about shows that have severely flawed people living dismal lives. Not so with K Dramas they are a breath of fresh air, I'm addicted. Even the baddies are good looking and well dressed. The glorious clothes, beautiful stars, unpredictable scripts, cry baby men. polite bowing and bad haircuts are not the greatest feature for me, It's the humour, they are so funny I come away from each episode feeling uplifted even when its a tear jerker. As for the gorgeous Jun Ji-hyun she may not even be the prettiest in the show but her quirky hilarious faces, infectious energy and fun make her every scene captivating, mesmerising and leave me craving for more of her when she isn't in a scene. Thank you Jun Ji-hyun and other cast members, writers. directors etc for such a fabulous uplifting and entertaining show.

The best Korean drama that ever exist... The only one that I had watch for more than 10 times and never get tired. An amazing surprise, the most well done drama ever. I fell in love from both lead roles from the start and never get dissapointed. Hands down to this amazing cast and the job of the writers and all people in this drama. This is a 100 out of 10, honestly. I love it!

Actually, each time he goes back to Earth, he can stay longer.. There are a lot of questions viewers are asking, but i guess that's the purpose of it ending like this. This drama leaves people asking a lot questions. I hope there will be something similar to this, but i doubt the main character will be as funny and talented as Jun Ji Hyun!

+ Rochelle Aguilar couldn't agree more!!! i've watched a few award-winning k-dramas after this one but i don't think i've found any that can top YWCFTS, and i won't find ones that are better anytime soon! this is still (arguably) the best k-drama i've ever watched~

I'm a Filipino, and honestly, I am so tired of the plots that each Filipino TV series present to its viewers. Trying to search for foreign entertainment, I came across "My Love From Another Star", which portrays an undeniable height of charisma and chemistry between its characters plus a strong presentation of a unique plot. This "Telenovela" also carries a formidable length of emotional episodes, that makes you cry, laugh and fall in love. Two thumbs up for Korean TV series!

well i think i can suggest you uhmm, dream high, emergency couple, miss ripley, i miss you, temptation of wife, and who are you... these are some of my favorite korean drama, you should also watch these movies, A millionaires first love, 100 days with mr. arrogant, the thieves, my sassy girl, a werewolf boy.

Forever and ever.

First time watching this drama IT FUCKING BROKE ME I CRIED SO MUCH, even as I was typing this I still cried. My heart is hurt like literally. The acting is so good and their chemistry is amazing. I don't know how am i going to cope from this. The feeling and the vibe, THE SONGS are all top notch. Best kdrama for me😭

예전에 보러간 분수쇼에서 이 노래가 나왔는데 아직도 기억나요. 그 땐 이 노래 제목도 몰랐었는데... 그냥 좋았던 것만 생각나네요. 이 노래만 들으면 그 때 생각나서 슬프기도 하고 행복하기도 하네요.

이드라마는 전지현의 상대역이 김수현이라서 더 대박난 드라마 다른사람은 상상할수 없음 자랑스러워 김수현~

I finished watching this and I feel like my heart is missing a piece. It hurts 'cause this was so beautiful. I cried, I laughed, I sat on the edge after the end of every episode, I never knew how it would end. Their acting, the actors, the story and everything, it made me live in a whole "another world". Thank you so much everyone, thank you so much. Watching this was one of the best decisions and experience of my life.

KpopNoodle You shouldn't have started with this drama. Because now you have extremely high standards for Kdramas & no drama will match up to how brilliant this one was ! This wasn't my first drama but every drama I saw after this, I tried to compare & was never satisfied ! 😁

This drama hands down my all time fave ever. Yes to be honest there are many great kdramas. But somehow I always come back to this drama and watch it over and over again and never get bored. In fact i watched this drama twice during MCO haha. 28/April/2020 ❤️

.. i am here April 10, 2024 because i am watching QUEEN OF TEARS who'se ongoing kdrama now with Kim Soo Hyun in it.. watching this ost now, wow! still having those goosebumps while listening to it.. My Love From The Star is my first ever watched kdrama.. i mean, watching it in english subs.. other kdramas i watched (actually i dont remember if i finished them) was already dubbed in tagalog and is airing in Philippines tv stations way back 2003.. ahahaha.. i remember also that my boss caught me (although it is after office hours already) watching it and he knows the drama too..

I watched it just to please her not paying much attention but I will admit I really loved it and now we're in 2019 and i still watch it from time to time. Everytime I watch it I always think of her and misses her. We couldn't spend last christmas for the 1st time since we dated I miss her alot
