tvN 월화드라마 ‘청춘기록’ OST Part.7 [‘Brave Enough’ - 이하이]
꿈과 사랑을 이루기 위해 노력하는 청춘의 눈부신 순간을 기록한 tvN 월화드라마 ‘청춘기록’의 일곱 번째 OST ‘Brave Enough’를 공개한다.
‘청춘기록’ 2부에서 현실의 벽을 마주한 사혜준(박보검 분)이 옥상에 올라가 독백하는 장면에 처음 삽입되어 잔잔한 감동을 준 노래 ‘Brave Enough’를 독보적 감성의 보컬리스트 이하이의 목소리로 만나게 됐다.
이하이가 부른 ‘Brave Enough’는 자기 자신에게 건네는 독백 형식의 노래이다. 몽환적인 기타 사운드로 시작한 후 노래 전반적으로 악기를 최소화한 편곡으로, 어떤 자극적인 소리나 꾸밈을 배제해 이하이의 감성적인 목소리로 곡의 분위기를 오롯이 집중시킨다.
마음이 무너져 내리는 힘든 순간, 현실과 미래 사이에서 갈등하고 고민하는 순간에 자신을 되돌아보며 ‘너는 충분히 잘하고 있으니 용기를 내라’고 응원하는 메시지를 이하이의 목소리로 전하며 청자들의 마음 한켠을 조용히 파고든다.
이 곡은 드라마 ‘도깨비’, ‘미스터 션샤인’, ‘남자친구’, ‘사랑의 불시착’, ‘사이코지만 괜찮아’ 등 다수의 히트 작품에 음악감독으로 참여하여 수많은 OST 히트곡을 만들어낸 바 있는 남혜승 음악감독과 작곡가 박상희가 합심해 만든 곡이다.
남혜승 음악감독은 "'‘Brave Enough’는 현실에 지쳐 힘들 때 옆에 앉아 조용히 손을 잡아주는 가장 좋은 친구처럼 ‘청춘기록’ 시청자들과 리스너들에게 지친 마음을 쉬어가게 만드는 따뜻함과 위로, 그리고 용기를 주는 노래"라고 전했다.

Her voice is so comforting
this drama, like its name, using the iconic young singers who represent youth to sing the ost so far; seungkwan, baekhyun, chungha, junghwan, wheein, lee hi, bobby. and surprisingly all of them, so far, are idols who were struggling choosing between dream or reality like Sa Hyejun (Park Bogum's character) before they're debuted. we are always trapped in society standard about what kind of job that is classified as a decent job like doctor, police, banker, pilot, or as simple as working in tall building with air conditioner wearing suit and tie. if we don't want to have THAT job, they will say to wake up, stop dreaming and face reality. this drama really talk about this. dream and reality. world will always try to break us down, like all the time. it is your choice to let it break you down and give up, or to turn the dream into reality.
