This is the first medium tempo blues that Kara is trying out.
The song 'Runaway' has been chosen as the first song to be revealed in this album. It is a medium tempo blues based on band, and Kara is trying this out for the first time. It tries to use only acoustic instruments without the metallic sounds. It boost the listeners' feelings this way.
In the music video, the girl is in dilemma because of her lover, whose love is already gone. The lyric talks about the heart of a woman who decides to let her go. The calm lyrics show the empty atmosphere of the song very well. Also it has a lot of meaning to it since this is the first time Kara is trying blues.

KARAがデビュー以来初めて試みるブルースジャンルのミディアムテンポ曲。
先行公開曲に選ばれた「Runaway」は、KARAが初めて試みるバンドベースのミディアムテンポのブルース曲で、電子音を最大限排除してアコースティック楽器だけを使って感性の最大化を引き起こす。
すでに心が離れてしまった愛を離せなくて葛藤するが最後には離すと決心する女性の気持ちを淡々と表現した歌詞は、寂しくて空虚な曲の全体的な雰囲気をよりよく生かしている。
特にブルースジャンルに初挑戦するKARAの新しい音楽的試みにより一層意味が込められた曲だ。

앨범 첫 선 공개 곡으로 선택된 '둘 중에 하나 (Runaway)'는 카라가 처음 시도하는 밴드기반의 미디움 템포 블루스 곡으로, 전자음을 최대한 배제하고 어쿠스틱 악기만을 사용해 감성의 극대화를 불러 일으킨다.
이미 마음이 떠나버린 사랑을 놓지 못하고 갈등하지만, 결국 떠나 보내기로 다짐한 여자의 마음을 담담하게 표현한 가사는 쓸쓸하면서도 공허한 곡의 전체적 분위기를 더욱 잘 살려내고 있다.
특히 블루스 장르에 첫 도전하는 카라의 새로운 음악적 시도에 더욱 의미가 담긴 곡이다.

yeah it's because the MV is just put together from the scenes of KARA's upcoming drama. it's called secret love and has 5 episodes with 5 different stories if I remember right

For KARA, I definitely won't run away. I love KARA forever. Since I was 16 years old, I'm almost 30 years old and I still love KARA so much❤❤❤❤❤❤ I always proud of KARA!!!
Should probably mention that this pre release is to promote their drama where each girl will have an individual storyline and the scenes here are from each of their respective stories. Also the actual song is longer than this. GO KARA! Can't wait for their title song and drama to be released! All the girls are so beautiful here
