Xiumin is a piano student of Yoojung’s father. Xiumin finds out that she’s blind and helps her with her piano. They become friends, but her dad disapproves and has Xiumin dragged out of the house. Xiumin has a heart condition where he has to take pills, and keeps it a secret from Yoojung, but while he is dragged away, he drops the pills. One night, he sneaks into her house and plays a piano piece for her but has a heart attack and we assume that he dies from that. Yoojung is worried when the piano stops playing, so her dad finishes playing the piece, knowing that she would think it is Xiumin and feel relieved. The love story was sweet, as well as the love of the father in the end trying to protect his daughter’s heart. Xiumin’s acting was particularly good. It was a little difficult to figure out why he was there that night. Explaination #1

I think he was there that night because he knows he's going to die but he didn't have the courage to directly face her so instead he started to express his feelings through music. Yoojung already knew he had heart problem since she has his medicine. Xiumin died right before he could finish "I love you" sound so Yoojung has an idea that he's no more so her father who has seen all this completes the piano key which is "he loves you" hence he gave his daughter a closure.

Cuz Xiumin's my bias, I was super excited for this MV and I almost died when I heard Jin's voice. Cx I love her now, hehe.

I love the meaning of the piano piece umin played at the end and how the teacher finishes it! OMG the meaning of every notes breaks my heart! T^T " I love your this and that and everything.." - the meaning of what note umin was playing before he collapes.. then the teacher finishes the coda by playing the notes which translates to: "he loves you" -ctto- OMG THIS IS WHY I ALWAYS CRY EVERYTIME I WATCH THIS MV!! OMG!!!!

From what I've read,the story starts with the girl coming back home(or she has piano lessons there)Xiumin was curious about her but never got the chance to actually talk to her. He saw the piano Teacher scolding her and sneaked in to help her while He(the piano Teacher) was away. The girl heard him Open something and asked "What's wrong". Xiumin didn't tell her and said it was nothing because He didn't want her to know He had a heart problem. They start hanging out more and end up having feelings for each other. While they were hanging,two bodyguards(or something else)came and took Xiumin away under the instruction of the piano Teacher(or her parents). Xiumin dropped his pills and the girl picked them up. She kept them hoping He would come back(probably knew they were Xiumin's,but not knowing they were health pills). She waits and waits,and suddenly heard the door Open,assuming it was Xiumin. He plays a song for her. The songs probably has some lyrics that say How He loves her(and more). Just as He was about to play the line "I love you",He collapses and is taken away. The girl,not knowing what happened,stops smiling and becomes worried. The piano Teacher continues the song,but changes the tune(or something like that). Instead of playing "I love you",He plays "He loved you". So I'm assuming the girl knows that Xiumin is gone,but is Happy they had/have mutual feelings. I'm not really Sure If it's the right story,so no hate please

Happy 8th anniversary for this masterpiece! I still clearly remember when I heard this song for the first time. It was a cloudy and windy day, a typical day in November. From the first note I knew I'm gonna love this song and it's true! I was just a teenage girl back then in 2013. This song brings back so much memories from my high school days. Best friends, crush, and those happy days, they're always coming through my mind whenever I hear this song. Basically it is the soundtrack of my teenage years lol. I couldn't thank Jin enough for this masterpiece. She gave me something that I can always remember for the rest of my life. Wishing her everything the best for her upcoming journey! ❤

The storyline : ( Copied from a blog ) First, Yoo Jung went out of the car and walked straight to her house, completely aware of her surroundings because she’s blind. As she walked around the path, Xiumin who was inside the house, playing the piano saw her walking outside. Distracted, his piano teacher used a stick and slammed it on the piano to get Xiumin’s attention back to the piano. Yoo Jung was sitting at the back, and Xiumin turned his head to her and gazed at her. Both of them walked passed by each other. Xiumin paused to look at her, but the girl walked passed him like he was invisible. While passing by each other, Xiumin was taking his white pills from his bottle, so that means he was sick. Yoo Jung was playing the piano (still blind), but she hit the wrong note, so the piano teacher slammed the stick at her angrily and walked away. Xiumin was curious as to what happened, so he walked into the room and sat beside Yoo Jung whose hands were still on the piano. He played the piano, but the piano teacher came back and he instantly hid behind the piano. The teacher was suspicious but didn’t notice anything, so he went out. Xiumin peeked out of the piano, smiling, and sat beside Yoo Jung again. Xiumin touched his heart because it was hurt, so he took the white pills again. After taking it, he gave the girl a piece of sweet and she smiled. Somehow, the two of them got a long. Xiumin was peeking out of the house and made a hand-gesture, asking her to follow him, but forgot she was blind, she was standing there, still clueless, so he helped her walk. They sat down on a nearby bench. Yoo Jung had tears in her eyes while smiling, touching Xiumin’s face affectionately. Xiumin grabbed her hand and touched his heart. Both of them were happily in love and smiling, but Xiumin’s heart hurt again. so he took the pills. Suddenly, Xiumin was dragged by 2 men away from Yoo Jung, who was fighting back to be released, because the piano teacher didn’t want him to be close to Yoo Jung. Yoo Jung was alone in the living room, holding Xiumin’s pill because he dropped it. Lying down, sitting, bored. Xiumin came into the room and played the piano. The notes that he played meaning ‘I love your everything’. Yoo Jung smiled as she heard him play. She knew it was him. He was about to play the notes ‘I Love You’, but then, he collapsed onto the piano before he could even play it. A man was carrying Xiumin out of the house, because he collapsed, but Yoo Jung still didn’t know because she was blind. She felt something weird when Xiumin stopped playing the piano, but stayed. Then, the piano teacher came and finished Xiumin’s piano notes. He played ‘He loves you’, but it wasn’t ‘I love you’, because it wasn’t from Xiumin. Yoo Jung smiled, but knows what it means.

man, this actress should have been in EXO's drama mv. Her eyes are more full of emotions and tell more of the story than the other girl.

I'm still crying over this mv in 2020 :( why so sad?? But Myungeun is so amazing in ballads, I love her!!

It's been 6 years. The first time i watched this, I'm a elementary student, now I'm a high school student. Time flies so fast but xiumin always remain the same

When it popped again... Still one of the beautiful song and amazing mv.

This MV has a timeless quality. It's been directed and shot with love using great protagonists, story line and the sweet emotional voice of Jin. It all fits in perfectly with the scenes and song in perfect harmony. Still feels fresh after all these years, although I have lost count of how many times I have seen it.
