Well it has only been like 3-4years for me but I’mI know how you feel. Like some dramas are legendary but I won’t forget them even though I don’t rewatch(If I start I don’t think I ever finish😂) . And the old kdramas really give a special feeling of pure love, I want more of this in the new ones.

I love this when I was still a child. Now that I am already an adult, I started to feel a pang of disappointment towards seung jo. Hani exerted too much effort for him but I couldn't remember him exerting too much effort for her. Yes, he has shown some effort but it is not enough. As I grow older, I realized the cruelty of this love. I hope to see another season and by that time, I really hope Seung jo will show how much he loves her. Edited: I've already found Baek Seung Jo's diary and I must say his love for Hani is more mature and intense. For those who still didn't watch it, you should watch it because it adds more beauty to the drama. Thanks for those who mentioned about his diary. I am inlove with him. ❤

Actually if i’m not mistaken there was baek seung jo diary that officially realesed by mbc, and turned out he liked her since the beginning. It’s just his character that he couldn’t express his real feelings.

In my opinion, he wasn't pretending to not love her but instead he couldn't bring himself to tell her right from the beginning. He waited for the right time for her until she could realize what she truly want in her life and not just based on what he likes. Both had their own character development and that is just beautiful! 💜

Just discovered Kdramas last month. I have watched ALL of Kim Hyun Joong's that are available in the US and 2 more. This is my most favorite. I have already watched it at least 3 times. I like watching Baek Seung Jo's character grow and change. I truly hope KHJ can be given another chance in his home country. He is a great talent. Blessings to him.

•__• Heypatootii•__• you should watch the original version nothing can top it! There are 2 season! 1st one is called It started with a kiss the 2nd Season is called They kissed again! The actor and actress they did so well it felt like I was watch an actual love story taking place and it felt so real because they have such good chemistry and since I watched that Siri’s last before I saw the other ones are the other versions that one is by far the best that’s because it’s the original!

I do believe this was my second or third K-Drama. I watched it after Boys Over Flowers. I like Kim Hyun Joong, so it was natural

i remember watching this when i was a kid and this still remain legendary!! i watched it again and understand the character of them, i realized that seung jo is so tsundere thats why he dont know or shy to express his feelings to hani hahaha

Baek sung Jo's smile is ♥️♥️♥️. When I was reading reviews and comments after watching the 7 special episodes and beak sung Jo's diary, I realized that the impact of this drama to most people is disappointment. However, for me, baek sung Jo's attitude and behavior stemed out from his childhood experience wherein her mother dressed him up as a girl for years. This scarred him for life. Maybe, him being unsociable and cold are the results. Further, his mother always made them compromise to her wants and is being controlling in an indirect way. Would he allow her to control him further if he shows his love to Hani? He also has a pride. But then, it was already obvious in the beginning that he likes Hani by the way he looks/satires at her and smiles beautifully whenever she's not looking. Also, he always say that hani is interest him.

Two of my fave scenes from Playful Kiss is when Baek Seung Jo covered her eyes just as the flasher was about to show it all!! LOL the other is their kiss in the rain... it was just beautiful!

This is my first ever watched kdrama. I was back then 11 years old really fascinated to Jung So Min and Kim Hyun Joong. I was in loved with both of them, and so to their country's culture. My young and fangirl heart promise to myself that one day when I finish my studies, I would go and meet them. Back in 2015, I also became an BTS-ARMY. I supported fandoms of South Korean groups. My obsession with everything in SK made me learn their language lil by little, I was even called weird by my classmates cos I was the only one who got a thing for it. I was so happy tho, it was one of the best thing that ever happened to me. I just don't get why I stopped doing everything I used to love 2 years ago. Yes, I stopped watching kdramas and supporting my favorite boygroup. So today, by hearing this soundtracks of this drama after many years, is a huge insomnia. I am so sad, and so happy at the same time.
