this song absolutelymade me cry a little but, i think the line "the glow you have , the imagination, identity are on a diet" is her saying like everything that makes you beautiful youre losing by trying to be like others.

The part you like is the chorus! Chorus A technically, and the EDM hook is just Chorus B. But this whole album is going to be a whole different sound she hasn't tried before, she said she's been wanting to try new sounds for a long time. So most people might get taken aback and not necessarily like it compared to what they know of IU so I hope she just has fun and experiments and the album

@@Nowaynoway50 Well yeah thats expected, but I find a lot of youtubers, obviously more than Koreans, get thrown off by this kind of stuff and might have mixed feelings about musical changes is all. IU forever will own the charts though regardless of what she does :D

the entire album well be more Pop based / main stream I know one of the composers that wrote song along IU I known him for about 5 years and he does Pop based songs so once I knew my friend Ryan was going to composed alongside side IU and otherrs I knew it was going to be something in this Pop/Dance/EDM influenced genre

It's just a pre-release track, I'm really curious how her album will sounds like later 😍

At the beginning of the MV "Celebrity" word is written by Iu with her left hand and as u see it seems not perfectly written as if u write it with your right but that's her massage that you are perfect and you are your celebrity no matter what..

For IU, lyrics is the most important thing and what message the song conveys, it's always interesting to read her lyrics since some of them answers what she wrote before and how she is now.

The instrumentals was just intrumentals. The actual chorus starts at the "Don't forget among the dark clouds..." Part. Pre chorus is the "you have no idea..." Part. The genre she was trying here is techno/edm that's why it has that kind of instrumental. It's like an instrumental riff just like any other songs.

6:00, same thought on that line. Also fun fact, fhe word celebrity on the title was actually written by IU with her left hand. This was also used on the album art of the song. There's this post on twitter for a rough translation of the song's introduction on Melon that sort of confirms that your interpretation on the lyrics are correct. I actually agree with you on the drop thingy. I had mixed reaction for that. Lol Might be I'm just not used to hearing IU with this? But really, you'll get used to it with multiple listens - happened to me tho haha

she's talking to herself and those who are unique - the message is just love yourself and be confident because everyone is a celebrity with their own uniqueness - don't afraid to be different coz anyone will have someone who think of her/him as someone special... just be confident and feel good about yourself.. IU send her message in very subtle and poetic way...that nobody perfect, like someone draw a star with left hand - it's still star no matter what...

Yeah, I like this one and I forgot it was a pre-release so I'm looking forward to what the album brings. I do think the part where she sings is the traditional chorus and the instrumental breakdown is either a post chorus or a two-part chorus so I'll forgive it ☺️
