I think his love for her was too great it was enough for him to just stay by her side and keep her company even if they can’t really be together and even if she didn’t know about it all along until it was time for him to go. So saaad 😭😭😭😭😭

Well he backstab her first by killing her brother even it's was to save her from being killed the the governor daughter, from her perspective he do it's for promotion but from the guys perspective it's to protect her, that guy should come clean in the first place by telling her before doing something that hurt her more.

When I watched the drama, her past was for me the most interesting and emotional part... When she saw Yeonwoo again and Chungmyung for the last time... My heart ached so much it was the second time I cried like this just after Titanic... I hoped they had a happy ending at least with Yeonwoo and Man Wol becoming friends or interacting more with each other...

The second lead love line in this drama left me deeper love feeling than the lead one. (even though the male lead acts great but I don't know why I feel like their love line is not strong compare to her past love from over 1000+ years )

During of the interview in one magazine, he did mention bout HDL as second lead man to Manweol not much of his role with Manweol n chemistry , LDH say, If I ever got the chance to act with her (IU) again. I will show you all more of our chemistry next drama and i hope so?? The thing is whether IU want to act romance drama with him hahaha......but I felt they should give them a chance to act again.

I can't say to Lee do hyun, I really cried hearing the truth that he has always been beside man weol for 1,300 years, it hurts so much, I will never not cry when I remember this

I never really fall for the second leads but i did in this drama, chung myung has my heart

And wattpaders dare to say the longest someone has waited but still didn't end up together was 70 years try 1,300 years

Last eps of this drama I was crying my eyes off, on every 2 min I was weeping like crazy. Years after I watched this masterpiece it still remains one of my fav dramas of all time. Some dramas are interesting from the beginning and then slowly lose the spark but this one kept bringing until the end. Truly one of a kind.....❤

i can relate why second male lead was rejected, because he betrayed her first by reporting her stealing, and then at the very very last ep, he offered her to walk pass the bridge togather but she rejected him because she knew who was the best for her so she came back and chose first male lead. it's just acceptable for her to not choose second male lead though

Hmm.. I don't think he betrayed her in any way tho. I mean, as someone who works in the palace, he had no choice. Man wol's best friend also told him to keep Man wol alive when they got caught (which made him look like the bad guy or traitor). It's pretty much a whole sacrifice he paid by being just a firefly all those years. Poor thing, he was unforgiven until everything was revealed.. but then again, it's obvious to think that Man wol would choose the main lead.. it's been years of anger and resentment lol
