MV Do It Now: Waterford Flight of Five Locks
My Great Loop journey included a trip about halfway down the Erie Canal. This video covers my trip from Waterford, NY through the first five locks on the canal itself. It's long because it's a slow-go, especially when you're behind (or locking with) a slow boat that isn't even sure it can make it under bridges. I fast-forwarded through the locking part. I used my "mast cam" and "face cam" setups for this video, including my improved microphone setup so you can actually hear what I'm saying when I talk. Your comments, likes, subscriptions, and shares are appreciated.

I have enjoyed by (I think) all of your helicopter videos, especially Nick on the Rocks. I'm glad I stumbled on this other channel. Are you between seasons for helicopter agricultural work?
How different would single handling the loop be with two engines? More control worth the extra maintenance?
Yeah Maria That's one thing nice about hydrologic thrusters. He can stand on them all day, not going to hurt them.
That's the way it is in the locks, nose to tail
Thanks again Maria for another wonderful video! Looks like "patience" is the word of the day when working the locks and neighboring vessels!
Great video and fantastic footage of the canals. Thanks for sharing this.
What is your dog's name and what kind of dog ?
Yay! Another video!! I’ve been patiently waiting!
