Guys they all connect. I need U, the prologue, and this. Jin was the first to die. When I Need U came out, everyone was curious to what Jin was. Jin was dead. Everyone killed themselves because they couldn't stand the fact that Jin was gone. Jungkook was the only one that accepted that he was gone. In the prologue, V calls someone. Yet we don't know who it is. all he says is, "Hyung. I Miss you." or something like that. All the other members are "alive" except Jin. It then goes on to say, "You can smile when you're all together." They were happy and having a good time because they were together. However I do think that maybe Jin was a fragment of their imagination because V jumps from the platform. He would only do that if he had a good reason. Maybe he was happy and filled that he could re-live the days with Jin. He jumped because he felt like he was ready to join him. Jin might have thought he was alive gut soon realized that he was dead because of the picture Rap Mon took of him and Suga. I can't remember but I think it was Suga that was gone. Jin might have thought he had taken it with him but didn't OR Jin was missing making him realize that HE was dead. Coming to Run, I think that the beginning shot was V after he died, going to the afterlife. The House of Cards represented them, and when V ruined it, it shows how when he jumped, the other members also died. Jin knowing that there was nothing he could do to stop them. J-hope had woken up in a hospital maybe and in tyue afterlife. Meeting Jimin who was waiting for him. Jungkook was the only one who had accepted that Jin was gone and Suga had tried to drink his way, but getting violent. Jungkook tried to stop him while crying. The scene right after that was Jungkooks memory of the "good times." Rap Mon and V spray painting because it reminded them of Jin. The scene where Rap Mon picked up the card and had a butterfly on it, probably meant that Jin was free, like a butterfly. The last scene with Jimin, he had a picture of all of them except Jin. He burnt it in the bathroom where they "had fun" to represent him wanting to forget all of it and move on to another life. After he died he met up with J-hope. The last scene with the person above the water is V passing through to the afterlife. My theory may not seem to make sense but if you rearrange it then it does.

10 лет назад я только слышала про эту группу и совершенно не хотелось узнавать о ней больше того, что все подростки визжат от одного названия ,, BTS,, . Я узнала этих ребят уже статными парнями, можно сказать мужчинами, все таки 27-30 лет- это вполне зрелый возраст. Узнала случайно, посмотрев ,, Чёрного лебедя,, и всё, поплыла...Теперь подробно изучаю их творчество, смотрю все подряд и наткнулась на этот клип ,, RUN,,. Представляю с каким трудом и с каким одновременным кайфом они его создавали! Очень круто! Правда же? И группа, конечно тоже очень крутая! Жду с нетерпением их скорейшего воссоединения!

I think maybe bcos the mv itself is longer than usual (7 minutes +), people opt to watch other shorter mv. Tho really, this run mv connects with Jin's epiphany (their picture at the beach where Jin disappeared, and appears again in epiphany).

I do. I just found out about the storyline (I already really really like them but I don't know them for long yet.) and now I am watching all of it. The new MVs with the dancing and choreographies ar awesome and I enjoy them a lot. But this is truly amazing. I love the way it's filmed and everything. I don't know any other Bands who do such things (or is that common in K-Pop?) Anyway, I like them even more now!

Its so catchy, i use its lyrics a lot while chatting

run is just my favourite song. idk but it has this rebellious feel, this feeling that they don't care. they can just run. they can have fun with no pressure party late in the night yell at random strangers get drunk. i just love it, the music, the music video and its saddening that ppl don't acknowledge it. to me it's one of the best eras for them.

Jin was actually the first to die. The rest of them are grieving but in the wrong way; by committing crimes, getting drunk. I personally think they all went insane after jin's death. Looking at the part where v and rapmon spare paint the wall, it's a reenactment of what they did to jin. Where they pushed jimin into the water and started drowning him, it's like how jin killed himself by drowning which explains the water stuff in the prologue. Jhope overdoses in order to try and kill himself as well because he can't stand not having jin around. Junkook is the only one who has accepted jin's death. He punches suga because suga has been drinking to try to numb the pain of losing jin, but starts getting violent. I think the reason why they were all acting like this because jin had always been some kind of protection towards them, like the way he saved them in the tunnel. Followed by jungkook 's smile, it seems that jungkook has accepted jin's death but knows that he's still there for them.

This era was a real masterpiece. It was a beautiful cinematic experience, looking for theories until 4 am on BTS forums, in comment sections and exchanging ideas, looking at every single detail in order to understand what it means. I always come back to this era, the Young Forever era and Blood, Sweat and Tears era. Even though not as much, I still enjoy the new era and new BTS of course, even though nothing can trigger the same emotions as this era.

@@adityashekharsingh2669 so there are many theories that suggest that everyone died and that actually Jin is the only one that was left, but also many theories suggest the contrary and that Jin died and everyone else coped with the trauma differently and that also Jimin tried to kill himself. There are so many little details that contradict themselves and things did become a little chaotic at a certain point so I’m not sure…
