They were getting popular slowly with Naeun had a big exposure, she helped the group’s popularity a bit, they did even better with LALALILALA then the scandal happened, they went downhill just that, it’s sad how we probably could see them doing this concept again but it would never happen since they are pretty much separate already, i always liked Naeun the most alongside Chaekyung it’s sad to see them go

@@shinechi It’s a bullying scandal, Hyunjoo, their ex-member claimed that the girls were always making her uncomfortable and would often scold her, DSP pretty much explained that it was only some kind of misunderstanding and a tense conversation among the members, then fans also bandwagoning with their own-investigation that the things Hyunjoo have claimed are not entirely true, and Hyunjoo’s side and DSP eventually told them to bring the case to a serious point (the court i guess?) but as far as i’ve known, it seemed like Hyunjoo’s side denied it and fans also found a lot of twisting words in Hyunjoo’s side statements. The thing is Hyunjoo really captured the gp well and had the gp siding with her for a while, then from what i’ve known so far now that the case was being treated like it has nowhere to go(?), some of the people are starting to gain faith in Lee Naeun, she was pretty popular and has great acting skills, you should watch her dramas!

RBW bought the company but did not want April because of their “baggage” it’s heartbreaking even if you’re not a fan. It did but it was not really a huge load. People that i know who stan K-Pop definitely know when i asked do they know april they would say “Oh i think i know them this girl is Kim Hana, their song is Oh! my mistake right?” but honestly this song has the potential to go skyrcoket like Bboom Bboom and Up and Down but i don’t know why it didn’t too though 🤷🏻‍♂️

omg thank you! this song is perfect (songs don't really get any better than this imo) but the mv and the outfits are also so so perfect! this whole concept was just overall done flawlessly, there's nothing that could make it better and i'd highkey love to have some of these clothes in my wardrobe haha

Seriously their disbandment is so heartbreaking 😔😭, just when they were finally getting recognised they went down in an instant, there is many boy group members who were accused of bullying and their comments section was filled with support and they recovered within a month, whereas these smaller groups from smaller companies really take the hit and vanish. we will never know the full extent of the situation, and I feel so bad that their side of the story was never accepted or heard

2 years ago, in passing, I had heard of April. Said I would get around to listening to them. Fast forward to two days ago, I stumble upon their relay for Oh My Mistake. Naeun is quite possibly one of the most beautiful faces in KPOP. Very underrated song, too. It goes to show how influential big companies are in the industry. EDIT: Yes I know about the whole scandal. TBH I didn't even like Naeun's personality in variety shows when I typed this. Imagine what I think NOW. HOWEVER, I still believe you should be able to be rational and separate things accordingly: the song is still a BOP and she looks stunning here.

she has so much potential she has charisma on camera, a good voice and her face looks like God took 5 months of intensive work to create it

i don't want to sound dramatic or anything but this is no doubt the best kpop song i've ever heard... i listen to this everyday since it came out...this song is so geniusly made. It is so chill yet so upbeat, so happy yet so sad, so 90s yet so futuristic. Every part of the song is catchy asf and every single vocal is perfect for each line. Every sound and rhythm they used is so fit into the music... Also u catch yourself listen to what their saying and u find it cute yet u realize how this could be about an abusive relationship and sexual harassment saying "it's ur faul...ur mistake" i am a former producer and i must say this is a genius work. Congrats to the girls

@@whatsinthename6139 so basicallly former member hyunjoo's alleged brother came up and "exposed" that hyunjoo was bullied while she was in the group causing her mental distress and trauma. However their company DSP media denied it and so did the members. After this April members have started getting immense hate on social media. However as nothing has been proven yet let us wait before hating on any of the two parties.However if they are guilty we should continue supporting Rachel and Chaekyung as they were added to the group after hyunjoo left and are innocent overall.

april disbanding is much more serious than you think. they gave up on their dreams they achieved by working very hard, some of them admitted (well, in the case of chaewon, it was her mom who admitted it, even sadder...) that they had su1cidal thoughts because of all the harassment they suffered from. they love april and they have been fighting so much to prove everything, and actually hyunjoo has been exposed, but it isn't enough for clearing the group name. anyways, april, you will always be remembered as a iconic group. we love you and we will support every single member
