I think that they'll do what they've done with their other brands; keep the production of the big capacity machines in Europe/Italy, and move the production of the smaller capacity machines to India/China. That means that we chould expect smaller capacity machines from the marque.

@@CrisURace You are clearly right, but people WILL stop buying products if they see no support for their "Home" economies. And these companies will also see that they are penalised if too much production is done outside the EU.

Enjoyed that. Your Turismo Veloce Lusso SCS video convinced me to take a punt on a 8000 miles, minter, bargain at £7.5k on a 68 plate. I'm sure you'll be able to get a decent price reduction on these before too long. Ticks a lot of boxes! We're all MV fans at heart aren't we?

Al, from your review I love this bike - love the sound track it makes. My current bike is a FZ09 with a Acrop exh. I know you have tested the T7 Tenere maybe you and the Barron and get Mossy and his Sh t slicer do a review of all the adventure bikes together! That would be hilariously funny!!

Worth every penny for that soundtrack alone , you’d never get tired of it I’m sure yeah it’s a wedge of cash but so is everything else ,you need 20k plus to buy anything slightly special these days 🏍🏍👍👍

At 21k, I'd need to be able to turn off the anti brakes and wheelie, plus a nice to have for that money, would be a button actuated, retractable, pillion seat, butt plug.

My nearest Triumph, BMW, Royal Enfield, Indian dealer just picked up MV Agusta. One didn't previously exist anywhere nearby.

You don't even need massive panniers: You plan a route for a week's vacation it'll be so fast you'll be back home in three days!

The flick ability of this bike is thanks to the counter rotating crank. It works against the gyroscopic effect of the wheel. All MotoGP bikes run it like this. I think Triumph only uses a counter rotating crank on the Speed Triple 1200 I think.

Sounds so much like my old GT750 ( Kettle ) suzuki with its 3 in to 1 piper.

What I need is a way to whittle the 804 middleweight adventure bikes on market down to a rideable number

I think the next manufacturer to make a slender adventure bike will be onto something. As a dirt bike rider to me size is everything. Nobody wants a massive bike offroad. Great review. Beautiful engine pity she doesn't like the back wheel

I do miss having a Triple. Going to the KTM 890 ADV R, whilst it's a great bike and super capable, If there wasn't such a big price different (and the fact I've spent a lot extra on the KTM), I might be tempted to switch.

A dealer is opening up by me in Christchurch for KTM, MV and CF Moto. Seems they are trying to get more exposure. I'll be taking a 1390 out immediately 💨

I wonder how many they will sell. It's not a bad thing to offer this type of bike. It's like how all car brands brought out SUV because they are just the top seller for type of car. This middle-, heavyweight ADV bikes looks like the biggest market for bikes out there. Bit of an assumption on my end without proper numbers though.

Is it a GS Killer - Not at 22k

Sounds lovely, looks similar to an Africa Twin I think. For me, I’m not brave enough to spend that much dough on a slightly unconventional bike. Personally I’d go for the desert x or ktm but that’s just mho.

It looks amazing but it weighs essentially the same as my 2016 R1200GS wet!

I’ve owned 2 MV’s in the past. Amazing, amazing bikes. Would I get another. Probably not.

I think if you don't mind to pay to have a proper beautiful adv bike there aren't many option other than this, desert x or multistrada. And the sound of this is brilliant...

It was I4 or nothing not that long ago.

I was honestly expecting it to be like 16k€ max, for being a "middleweight". But its 24k€, 245kg wet, which is heavier and 4k more expensive than the 1300GS (237 kg/145hp) and less powerful. It also kinda looks like the Honda Transalp.

Nah. Take a XTZ1200, paint the blue parts in red, and here it is.

Looks like a Tiger killer to me...except for maybe the price...It chaps me everytime I go or leave my house I have to STOP to switch to OFFROAD mode...I'm constantly on mixed surfaces...having to stop to change this mode is an asinine design "feature".

So why is it so expensive?

£22k for a middleweight adventure bike seems a bit much, especially when you consider the Desert X is £15k and the T700 & Tuareg 660 are both under £11k.

A lower-quality mass-marketed Volkswagen which is mass-assembled with cheaper, mostly Chinese parts should be cheaper.

Most beutifule adventure bike, but there are no chance of me ever buy it. I have a beutiful mv agusta dragster 800 rr in the garage, and its ofthen doomed to be in there as there is always something braking down. 😅

So if it’s all great on the road, and eh ok and too expensive for off-road, then why buy an enduro veloce? Why not get a F3 or a Veloce or a whatever roadbike? You can mount nobbies on the F3 too. ;-)

This is the top-shelf premium bike with top status and old-man comfort to compete against BMW GS, except this is differentiated to offer something different: A more sporty ride and engine for those in this segment who aren't quite as old at heart to only want a water-pump-like 2-cyl engine and a less exciting bike to chug around in.

Proper sounding 3 cil. Never liked the Triumph whistle if I am honest. Even if get some flak, this being a Bri'ish channel and everything

More reliable? MV Agusta makes some of the most reliable bikes in the industry. They have double the warranty compared to most of their competitors in most markets! The base tech they're using now was developed over 10 years ago, was reliable from the start, and has since been updated to new versions several times to even further improve reliability!
