5 years later.... how are they? Did they crack? Explode? Just plain junk? Or a great purchase?

Sold the bike with the bags about three years ago. They never cracked while I had them, but locks were never smooth, and emblems would fall off. The plastic is fairly thin. If you leave your bike outside I'd have to guess that they would crack over time (based on other things I've owned made out of similar thin plastic). My bike now is an 03 Harley FXDL, and when I bought bags for it, I did NOT buy these again.

Lol I think the curve side of the bag was supposed to be the outer side. My guess is you put them on the wrong sides.

Hi Frank, I saw your video where you installed the mutazu saddlebags in your bike, that was a little over 1 year and half, could you please tell how the bags have behave since then? Any unexpected cracks or issues with the locks?? Thanks!

The locks were not smooth when I installed, and never smoothed out. No cracks to the bags themselves. One of the M symbols popped off during a ride, and one of the weather strips has come loose, but can be stuffed back into place. Still happy with the bags so far. Full disclosure, I never put much weight in the bags at any time.

Hi mate, what about the rear indicators? I bought the same bag but I cannot fit it because it is too close to the rear indicator. I have a Suzuki intruder 250. Cheers

I don't have any experience with that bike. I looked up some photos and it looks like the marker lights are attached to the rear fender. My thought would be to see if you could find an "L" bracket at a hardware store, bend it into a bit of a "U" bracket to space the market lights back closer to the license plate. Attach the bracket to the fender using some hollow bolts so the wires can pass through. You might have to splice in some extra wire so it will plug in and work.

The bags seemed fine. Obviously there was a little less bounce with some weight in the bags, but overall they were fine. Please note I sold this bike about three years ago from this reply.

I sold the bike a little over a year ago. But up until then I didn't have one issue out of them. The lock got a little rough, but a touch of graphite smoothed it out.
