Mutah Beale addresses those who listen to his old rap songs with Tupac 🎤

I get asked frequently, what are the reasons, I don’t want people listening to my old rap songs. Here is the answer.

@@spe3173 actually, my father hung out with the wrong crowd, he thought they were 'his people,' and he found out the hard way that they weren't. He was actually a graduate engineer that settled in Detroit for the automotive opportunity. Sadly, the bad company he was with, caused him to lose his career (toxic people can destroy other people's lives). That is from what my mom explained to me. my father fell down an alcoholic path, which ultimately cost him his life when I was 9 years old. I used to witness him vomit in the sink all the time. One time it was very terrible to watch. At age 16, I had wished I could bring him back. My mom struggled with alcoholic addiction throughout the years, but lived a clean slate on the last 7 years she lived.

That’s actually disrespectful to say. He won’t tell you that but I will. Because the main reason he stopped Music for is because it’s forbidden in Islam. So even if you really listen to his music you should stay quiet about it and don’t say it especially to him. I hope my message finds you well

Listening your music, made me who I am to this day. Lost my father when I was young. So I learned to stand up for my self through you. I never was looking for trouble, but I would never back out. You can read, listen to what others have to say and learn from it. Don't copy, but use it as an extra layer on you as an individual. Like branches on a tree. We all grow over time, and when you hit a certain age and still stuck in your youth era means you don't evolve. It's not about who you was, but who you are now.. and what you are working on to become. When you converted to the Islam I even appreciate you more. Being aware of what you went through since you was a kid...your story will guide countless people..

Godbless brother! I'm 33 and in my youth Pac and Outlaws got me through my troubles. It was meditation for me song after song. "Still I rise" helped me walk all the way to school without a detour. "Unconstitutional Love" helped me dream as i layed for bed. Hoping for a better day. "Hearts of men" pumped me up, for Football games. "Check out time" driving home from a late party helped the mind calm. And" Changes" made conscience of those around me. Much love and respect. I'm a very different person than i was when i was 13-24 yr.old music was my guide. I never was aggressive towards anyone from listening to you or Pac. But simply aware of people who were hateful towards myself.

@@chriscurry2540 - I truly hope so and pray that you study and find the truth. Always remember, you must have an open mind and speak to someone who has knowledge about the religion and that person is me ! If you need any info, please let me know and I will send you my info. I can help you understand the truth and answer any questions you might have. This would be an honor for me . May Allah SWT bless you and guide you to the right path. Ameen.

I agree with what you say, I also think you can listen to music and know how to separate it from reality. One can still listen to your music but also have control of their actions and not let the music cause them to do harm to others.

This is true. I grew up listening. Pacs music has helped me through hard times. But he does have very negative songs. Music does influence people. Rappers need to have accountability. With that said I'm mature enough to know art from reality. But even growing up I like pacs songs that had a positive message. So I lean towards his positive songs.

Everything he saying is absolutely right. As an artist, I used to rap about violence and have so much negative content in my music. Now I can’t even bring myself to write anything negative. I also didn’t realize I had anything positive to write about, or the music wouldn’t be as good as my violent ones, but when I tried it. I felt better in the inside, and still was able to write my truth, and make good songs. I even went back and deleted a lot of my negative songs on platforms my music was on. Respect & blessings Mutah Beale

That is so true what the brother Mutah is saying. As Mutah said you become what you hear and you become what you think, i am not a religious person but as the bible says in Proverbs 23:7 For as he thinketh in his heart , so is he.
