I remember hearing about a Gamekeeper who lived in Stratherrick the Scottish Highlands. Who owned a 44magnum revolver. He was told by the then Chief Constable of Northern Constabulary. That he had to surrender the gun following the Thomas Hamilton massacre in Dunblane. The Gamekeeper said he needed to keep the gun for humane disposal of wounded animals like deer. The case went to court and the Gamekeeper won . The restrictions on gun ownership has not affected the criminal fraternity in any way! Just legitimate users. We now have things like Mach 10 sub machine guns in criminal hands. They are not afraid to use them either

Totally untrue. There have been no mass murder incidents in the UK since Dunblane. The UK unlike the US has no large predators being savaged like by a badger is as unlikely as it is comical. There is simply no need for an average Joe to own a gun. That's why we regulate ownership. If you want a world were 8yo children shoot gun instructors by accident I don't. Same here in Devon UK. using our grade one farm land for new housing and solar farms, however when you put in a planning application for a new barn to help with improving your out puts all hell breaks loose and you have to jump through all the hoops, meanwhile we are spending a fortune renting sheds for lambing on other farms. There is a total disconnection from how food ends up on supermarket shelves within town type people. As the food growing land is deminishing, food shortages are inevitable but we are not given priority when trying to produce more wholesome food. We also farm organically so do not destroy wildlife or the eco system or soil with chemicals. I feel for you people as well.

What do you reckon is going on? We had a pandemic, then a worldwide push to inject an unproven experimental drug into every man, woman and child, and of course the ongoing anti-CO2 campaign. It seems that Biden is trying to start the next world war over Ukraine and also let in millions of foreigners from all over the world. The Netherlands and Germany are trying to interfere with farming. My feeling is that all the above are tied together in some way and intended to benefit the powers that be.

Hello Jack, a tip for safe long shots. Buy yourself a shooting-stick (Trigger Sticks), either two-legged (Bi pod) or three-legged (Tri pod). A simple straight stick handmade would be enough also or you build a bipod under your rifle, Then u are better back in the game :-)) We here in Germany have the same problem. There are a small minority of "green" people in the current government, who don't like guns and are of the opinion, that "normal" people shouldn't have guns. Good luck 4 u.

Our 2A was built on a very different premise, and it hasn't even been 80 years since we last used it for it's purpose on our own government. Get really tired of people saying it's "outdated". If schools would teach recent historically important instances like Battle of Athens, maybe they would have an understanding of why it's important that we don't throw it away.

The firearms laws of WA are draconian to say the least, particularly when applied to the primary producers and in particular when you have the responsibility of having to control feral animals but you’re not allowed the tools to do it properly. They the Govt should be giving an approval on application to the station and employees of that station the right to use the weapons licensed to that station which address the aims of pest control and this includes use of automatic weapons, and suppressors. These rules might be okay in the city suburban environments but not on rural properties where a firearm is definitely a necessity in controlling ferals and that also includes the use of pistols when working close with any wild animal.

Danny i have an apology to make on behalf of my late father. His ancestors were cleared from the North End of the Isle of Skye Scotland for sheep!! Usually the factors men who did this took out the crofters furnishings. Before setting the building on fire. So they could not use it anymore. People died because of this treatment. Then they were cleared off to Australia. Where those same people were very hard on your ancestors. Sometimes even killing them. They had not enjoyed being cleared off the land. Why take it out on your ancestors who had nothing to do with it. Jack could you please pass this on to Danny please. If you see it? Thankyou in advance. I had a sheep get covered by a round bale. Came out one morning and see ot laying there, thought it had died over night. So grabbed the hind leg and it came off. Nearly lost my breakfast. Dead rotting carcasses are just gross.

I was watching a video about the 1900 in 🇦🇺and they used 🐪 to bring railroad supplies to where they were needed. So were the 🐪 🐪 already there or brought in to help the railroads snd then got out of control ?

How can you deal with this well the people the people of Western Australia of the Northland of everybody in the West they're not the cities but everybody in the outback you need to get everybody together on the same page and you need to sit down with your officials that you voted for and tell them this is what we want we want our rights we have rights to hunt and to fish and to protect ourselves what happened 30 years ago was terrible what happens every other weekend my country is terrible but it's the person so deal with a person but then I understand the other side too there's people out there that I wouldn't even allow to have a butter knife giving him a gun it's not really bright but I don't want my rights violated when I'm honest law-abiding citizen that has always obeyed the law and then it started to be treated like a criminal I really am offended by that type of attitude. The most important thing and I keep trying to tell the people here in this country America there's a lot of my folks that want to carry weapons around like tell them you know if you want your weapons and your children have them can't just go out and sling an AR in the market you got to be more wise. Giday. I was a Surveyor in the Pilbara and Kimberlys and jobs all over WA NT QLD and NSW. I did a gig 3 months over summer near Marble Bar. At 47C the electronic would shut down ( $100k + digital theodolite +). About an hour after sun rise. We were in tents roughing it. The eyepiece got so hot it burnt my eye lashes off. We then had to move to night shift and a balmy 35c min. In that heat you can’t touch metal or you get burns. This was 8 hours on a track and 4-5hours on black top. Nearest ‘town’ but had a hospital and RFDS Strip. You work slower, plan more and know the worst is yet to come. Also used an electric fan blowing across the barrel. Space blankets help with the sun heating up guns, then jams. Semi automatic gets faster unaliving, less 2 nd shots, and less stress on your body and a better job done with less $ in amo. Watch a USA cull, they are on song. The right gear for the job. Do they use a calculator to cut wood?

Out of the many Emails and letters I have written to my local MP in regards to firearms, guess how many replies I've had...? None. Not even an acknowledged reply, nothing! And guess how many replies I've had on the follow up Emails and letters....? You guessed it, NONE! The bottom line is this, they (the pollies) do not care about this landscape as we do. Plus, there's no money in it for Them.

Hey jack, Great to watch you guys. Trigger cam is junk. When through all the trouble you are going through as well. I would recommend Side-scope that uses the GoPro and is very nice. Trying to self identify as a camel again. Looking at damaged panels. Looking at the top rectangle segment and improving strength structurally at point of manufacture. You may be able to do this as a test piece. So in the top segment if you welded two V’s into the top rectangle space the top bar would act in tension when camels press over and at least form a stronger top rail. Outside of this the second rectangle down could have either a single V in the centre or forming a V in the ends with one single straight piece welded in the corners each end. My thoughts on joining panels in the field lend too a pipe over the top rails open bottom and centre to go over the uprights of two adjacent panels with a T shape that could lock over the uprights. This may or may not have merit but I believe it’s worth a test panel. The overall shape of the entire pen as an octagon may prove not infallible but just longer lasting against camel crushing. This system could work with modifying existing panels as well. The overhead panel that Danny and your dad came up with has great potential at all corner points as a roll out to water points. The V’s are a n adjustment that could be done at point of manufacture and / or on farm with ease of handling a consideration as well. If anything I try and contribute has merit all for the good but if it’s something you have already assessed and discarded please gloss over . You should try a lever action 45-70 with a side gate. Can load between shots and a 4570 will put a hurtin on them camels. You can get quad rails to mount optics and other stuff. Lever guns are a hot item in the states. We love them even with all the firearms we can own

Go look at Switzerland when it comes to fire arms and licences , vetting and training even for automatic riffles and you are good to GO

Get the ATN day/nightvision scope has a record on recoil setup but you still have to rely on the battery to even use the scope

Jack, relating to "Reasonable reasons to own a firearm are", this is the question, now should those members of your governing party own farm land that its crops or animals are under a threat by a species that are on the "Cull list" then without doubt they would be in favour of culling that or those species by acceptable schemes and firearms that are suitable in a humane way of culling.

Does austrailia allow you to have high cap magazines? I see youre using both 10 and 20 rd PMAGs, just wondering if you would ever use magpuls drum mag for .308 to give you more rounds down range and less down time for reloads and you keep reticle on target longer.

Other than that, if they are made here it's legit. But yeah, get the kit sent direct to the west side and customs isn't an issue. Strange that states try to enforce their rules on federal imports.
