I wanted to give you a big shout out thank you for doing this video. Think many of us have been there when you are a taller guy im 6'3 to and a lot of things arent made for us. I took your suggestions for my 08 Harley Electra glide classic which had for years but was not comfortable. I put the seat and bars on and is almost a completely different bike. It has helped my back and now feel comfortable like my bike fits me. Safe travels brother thanks again!

That is great to hear Jason and I have since traded that bike in for a 21 Road Glide limited and I moved the seat with it. That’s how much I loved it. I just bought a 2024 Road Glide in the seat no longer fits, but you can bet that I ordered a new one from Mustang. Here here is too many more years of riding for both of us!

I have Mustang's on my XLC & FLHR and have been very happy with those seats. Glad your liking yours so far.

BD, good vid. I've always wanted a Mustang, however my sister bought me a Harley Hammock seat about 6 years ago. At first I loved the Hammock, great heat and the wife liked it. The Hammock is no hammock. I A$$ gets sore between 150-200 miles. I'm going Mustang. Right now my stock seat is back on the bike.. Like Sam Cooke sang, A Change Gonna Come...

I am glad you found a fit. I really like my Tall Boy, but every fit is different. I'm riding for 7 hours in a few weeks so I might feel different, but, I rode 284 miles a few weekends ago in the mountains and felt pretty good (no backrest). Love what you share, be safe and well.

@@BoDean52 It felt really well Bob. I had my Harley bag mounted backwards and on the passenger seat so it was as good as a backrest. Still, 4 hours is about enough for me.

I've been riding since 1970 and have had all the major brands of seats on many different models and makes of motorcycles. I currently ride a 2012 HD Road King that I traded for recently but haven't yet upgraded the seat to the one I know for sure is the one and only. Anyway I swear by the Mustang for it is by far the most comfortable seat there is! Mustang is the only seat that will not leave you sore at the end of an all day ride I personally guarantee it! Like I said I've been riding for 50 years and have tried them all,Mustang rules! By the way I do not work for Mustang I'm just a big fan that appreciates the comfort and quality of their great product!

I love the way u guys in the USA costomise your harleys and yea have good weather not like here in Ireland nearly all the time raining.

I absolutely love my Mustang Super Touring Seat with backrest on my '16 FLHTK! This seat moved me back 1.75" & with my 14" Mayhem Bars it is perfect! I am 6' 3" tall & this bike is set up perfectly for me. I can go well over 500 miles on a trip in one day. I like your bike!!

I forgot to mention that I installed Pingel Floorboard extenders (wider). Helps guys like us with big feet. Ride safe!

I have a Mustang as well, great seat. Now you want to be really amazed, upgrade your shocks. Wife and I both absolutely love the Legends and the completely different ride with them.

BoDean 52 Yes, I ordered them through a FB group for much cheaper than retail and I installed myself. I’m in Mansfield so I’m central to almost everywhere. Got plenty of roads I could suggest.

I just put a new Mustang seat with backrest on my new Heritage Classic and I love it. I had one on my previous bike so I knew what I was getting. Good American made quality product. Pricey but worth it.

I put a Mustang Summit with rider backrest on my 2020 Street Glide. It is heaven on a long trip, the ultimate in comfort for my taste. I can ride all day long just making quick gas stops with no pain. I previously had a 15 Road Glide and tried several Harley seats including the Tall Boy and the Hammock. The Tall Boy is a royal pain in the ass to make a rider backrest work with it and the Hammock still didn't give me the comfort I was after. The only thing with the Mustang on a bare Street Glide is that it looks so big. With the passenger backrest and rack on the bike it blends in much better. I usually just use my stock seat for running around town and short jaunts. For any trips or taking my wife for a ride the Mustang is always on.

We have one on our 2012 SG, the wife really likes the seat. We also put on Legends shocks and front suspension , love the ride 😎

BoDean52, I’m so trying to find a comfortable seat & if you are confident this seat will put me back a couple inches & is comfortable I think I will be looking a little more hard at this seat you got. I’m a 2016 Road King with stock 2 up seat & stock backrest & I’m 6’2” so I need to set back further than stock. Thank you for sharing BoDean52! Keep 2 on the ground & ride safe.

So I have had the seat on a 2018 ultra limited and now it’s on my 2021 Road Glide limited. I’ve had it well over two years and absolutely love it. It definitely sets me back to inches and I assume it would do the same on the road king. I do recommend it and will not ride with another seat. Thanks, ride safe and good luck

i bought mine back in April, but mine is the "deluxe" design. And this seat makes the like 5th seat I've had on this seat. The 3 HD seats I bought to me are the same, sunk low squeezed the nuts. I had another mustang seat as that I liked on my last bike, but on this bike it had me sitting on the tank. The deluxe I have now I just have to get use to being an inch or two wider.. I have short itis.

Heard only good things about those seats! We have a Manchester here too, looks a little different though! Great to see a few other bikes out there too.

Thanks for sending me to this video of the Super Solo seat! Is this seat harder, similar or softer cushioning than the stock seat? Is it generally a harder seat pad or softer? I've seen people describe "comfortable" as still being a harder seat, so just checking. Thank you!

I would say it is a little harder but its still new. No doubt you don't feel the bumps as much and it sits you back for sure 2". I love it

I just put a mustang lowdown seat on my 2017 Roadglide ultra. It do feel more comfortable then the stock, but as for lowering me it did absolutely nothing. 800.00 experiment that failed.

Great Video. I am 6 foot 3 and have a 2016 road glide Ultra. I currently have a Harley road zeppelin air seat . It is comfortable, problem is with backrest it pushes me up towards tank. I am looking at the mustang super touring seat as well. I prefer to sit in the bike not on top. I recall the mustang seats I had with the Japanese bike I had were amazing. My question is, is the Mustang super touring deluxe pretty well the same as the Mustang Super Touring seat. It looks a bit fancier? Do you sit in the bike with Mustang seat or on top?

just out of curiosity...how does this mustang seat compare to the HD Hammock seat. I dont like the tallboy seat because the new tallboy seats in my opinion dont have enough cushion, and the looks of them imo are not very good. I have been looking at the hammock (non heated) one for a couple of days and it seems to get good reviews. Just waiting for the HD shop to get the demo of it back in a couple days as someone has it out now. Curious how it compares to the mustang super touring seat. I remember years ago putting a mustang on my road king and all i remember was it was hard as heck like sitting on a cinderblock.. BTW, thanks to your video and advice, i pulled the trigger and ordered those bars yesterday!!
