I went for the deeper tone on my Mustang with the H pipe instead. Also didn't like the sound for straight pipe so I switched it to something else.

surprised me too!! she really did lack in tone for my tastes, but I never got to have something loud & obnoxious so I took it easy on my pockets & let myself feel like a kid again. no regrets but would've loved to hear maybe a corsa muffler with H pipe before selling

That's easily the best sounding mustang I've ever heard! Well done! Absolutely love how loud it is.

I’d rather have this then drop $3000 - $4000 on “branded pipes.” Sounds very good!

if your taste are similar to mine, please please consider investing in aftermarket long tube headers! It was a completely different car to me, I absolutely fell in LOVE. It made the car for me personally

I got a 15 Camaro ss with headers catless fully straight piped. I absolutely love the way mustangs sound though when they have this setup. I’m waiting for someone to flyby me one day so I can hear it in person! Sounds scary!

The only thing I hate so much is the fact we can't get real aftermarket cams (to my knowledge). ;( If I could get a huge authentic looping cam it would tickle me pink! I feel like you're able to get real cams and not just a tune on the camaros

@@DocterKankle I got a 13... 6 Speed 🐺 coyote 🐺 stock... It's a shame what people do to these things not understanding anything about performance.... Like just putting oversized straight pipes and deleting the mufflers and cat on their 300 hp donkey.. and end up with sluggish POS with no torque.

IM ABOUT TO GET ME MY OWN custom made 2022 Mustang 5.0 Premium this January !!! Gonna get this SAME EXHAUST I LOVE IT !! Still deciding on either the rapid red paint or Oxford white with black roof

This is the only time I like the sound of coyote motors. I’m a mustang guy but if these aren’t straight piped I really don’t like it. This thing sounds great. I do wish they would lope with a cam either way 👍🏿

You have a good taste in sound! I completely agree, if I was to have ever gotten a muffler it would've been the corsa probably (which seems about as small a muffler as they make). As for the cam lope, it was the only piece of the puzzle I was missing! I wanted it so bad!

I really wish I could've heard your suggestion, I think you hit the nail on the head with it

I have a 19’ GT cat delete x pipe and muffler delete, I don’t mind the rasp and surprisingly there’s not a lot of noise inside with the windows up. But early morning cold starts are a little brutal and the chopping when letting off the gas and coasting to a stop gets bad too. I’m debating on either throwing the mufflers back in the borla ataks or swapping the x pipe to an h pipe and getting resonators to calm that up a little bit

If there was noise it wouldn't be anything but music anyways, but I completely agree with you on the morning times. If I was you & I had the budget, I wouldn't be ablet to help myself in trying exhaust cutouts. I really wish I was able to give them a go.

Damn that seems loud as hell. I have corsa extremes on mine but that things nuts. Contemplating headers, but think my whole neighborhood would hate me. I cold start mine in the garage with the door down as it is because I leave for work around 5:30.

Yeah I felt terrible at the thought of doing the whole setup prior & for about a month or so after, but I told myself it is what it is. I live in a pretty small area in the county & I really do hate it for my neighbors, but out of all the bs in the world, it's definitely the one thing that always brightens my day so much. That alone means a lot to me & is important so that's what eventually lead to me doing it. On top of all that I've wanted the car & the exhaust setup for like 10+ years easy. I told myself I'd be an idiot to not finally do what I dreamed about. I have 0 regrets & the car really makes me happy for what it is.

I put pool noodles in my exhaust tips for early morning cold starts. Remove them right after the car idles down. Works like a charm!

I saw this! If I still had it I would put corsas on it more than likely. it definitely is a cleaner sound, but when I had it I didn't want to put anymore money in it after the headers

Sounds better than I though with the straight pipes, a bit raspy for me but sounds good. I prefer the deep sound of my res delete/H-pipe. Nice job though

Been a while since i sold it, but i believe ~265? give or take 10 (The previous owner had the same size tires on both front & back. They were a bit bigger than stock size)

Texas Speed 1-7/8" Long Tube Headers & Off-Road Connection Pipes Ford Racing X Pipe No Mufflers No Resonators Steeda 409 stainless steel tips Only reason i didn't go kooks 3" was because I was a cheap boy lol. I'd really like to hear the difference between 1 7/8" & 3" though. I'm actually very curious now i realized the difference in size.

very good question! it will bug me now I didn't address that issue before posting. ALL clips are with Texas Speed Long Tube Headers installed. No cats, no resonators, no mufflers. True straight pipe (to my knowledge).

The cold start is BRUTAL. After ~20 seconds it's surprisingly quiet to where you wouldn't think twice it being loud. Also, I took so much pride being able to drive this car quiet as hell, you definitely can be very quiet, but you can also be the loudest thing there is!

This is a dumb question but how much louder would this be compared to my current exhaust system which is a muffler and resonator delete with x pipe. Would it sound similar to this with just full straight pipe or do headers make a big difference. Sounds insane

Not a dumb question at all. I'm going to assume you still have catalytic converters because from what I was told those are near the front of the car near the headers. So things that would increase sound for you from my perspective: 1. Catalytic Converters are currently dampening your sound removing those in the dumbest roughest estimate I would say it would increase your sound by 5%. 2. Off-Road Long Tube Header not only remove your cats ("off-road" is the key term for cats being removed") , but if i understand correctly they optimize the exhausts fumes ability to exit the car quicker. Which typing that out doesn't sound that big of a deal & i'm sure there's a lot more i'm missing, but when I say adding those long tube headers changed my life i'm not kidding. Every exhaust video I watched growing up as a kid? Those long tube headers scratched every bit of that itch i've ever had excluding one other tiny itch being a slow loping cam, but I definitely didn't have the funds for that at the time plus the S550 models aren't able to get a true cam (hopefully someone that actually knows cars can verify me on that). I didn't want to go near the ghost cam anyways because i wanted a genuine cam to be my first experience with aftermarket cams

Wheels: 19" SVE Drift Tires: Front - Summito 255 Back - Summito 275 I can't remember the second number on the tires!

Hold up, the sound was awesome. Loved that fly by, coyote sounded amazing............... but if his foots to the floor shouldn't it have flown quicker?

Thanks! Foot was not to the floor (but was surely close) because I felt so bad dogging her. I was also probably 7 months into learning to drive stick when I posted this. Lastly, I'm definitely not a speed demon, just a sound whore 😁, all I care about is sound. Torque & spinning tires is also a fun bonus. My likings for these beautiful machines definitely isn't always along with the majority. I just like logging & trying to showcase my favorite aspects of them, in this case my fetish for the sound haha

when you bought the headers did you have to delete the cats that came with them or do you have a link for the specific ones you bought ?? also do you have a link as to where to buy the x pipe??

I bought Texas Speed Off-Road headers, those don't have cats in them since the cats are in the headers in these vehicles (to my knowledge) as for the X pipe I'd imagine Texas Speed offers an X pipe too, BUT unknowingly I went in with my Texas Speed Headers for them to install not thinking I needed a matching mid pipe (x-pipe). With that being said I had a Ford Racing X Pipe that came with the car as an aftermarket mod the previous owner added. THANKFULLY the people that installed my headers were able to connect them both together (Texas Speed Headers to Ford Racing mid pipe). As for mufflers / resonators, they were removed via local exhaust shop for cheap.

It was not bad at all to me. It could be partly my attention span , but I never remember acknowledging the drone while driving until people bring it up. At 0-70mph is the range it would start. This was my daily driver also & the only regret I had was not doing it sooner. From every purchase I've made in my life to this date , this is EASILY in my top top 10. It's an absolute given for me now no questions. I really want to get a C7 Corvette & do the same settup so bad I can't stand it. 1. Install Long Tube Headers 2. Mufflers = Trash can 3. Resonators = Trash can 4. Cats = Litter Box Then listen to as much combustion there is to offer in the larger 6.2 Liters of Engine Displacement that she has to offer 🙂

Heard ya, yeah definitely considering doing it. It sounds sick and I want to be as loud as possible lol. Was looking at corsas but it’s hard to justify spending 2k on exhaust with no real power gain, people buy them just to be loud when you can be just as loud for much cheaper. My exhaust at the moment is just a muffler deleted catback the previous owner put in so I’m already partially there just need catless headers and an x pipe. This set up would scream on a c7 hope you’re able to get one soon
