My 22 EcoRooster crawled out of muddy melted snow. Snow mode, 1500 rpm nannies. Creeping out 100 feet like a champ. I had a crowd of co-workers ready to tow me out, intead I got cheers from Ford haters.

It is all about the tires indeed, had a 98 mustang with no traction control. Used to put on snow tires and steel rims for the winter and was able to drive safely with throttle control even during blizzards.

I just bought mine two weeks ago. This is very interesting to me. Thanks for posting!

Thanks for this. I've been looking for a video like this for a while before I go and buy tires. I think I need to go get all-season tires. I'm still running the factory Pirelli P-Zero summer tires on mine and it's all over the place with even light snow. Mine also doesn't have snow/ice mode.

Hello. When im stopping it puts 1” gear to fast too early and I feel grinding and clicking

Hi, the grinding and clicking is your ABS kicking in and is normal. It keeps you from sliding. Try the manual shifters for more gear control.

What tires do you have on it? I have a 2017 ecoboost, which does not have drive modes.

There's 2 versions of the Neros. The ones Ford ships the car with are NOT the all seasons. They're summer performance tires. (mine were anyway)

@@Booplesn00tgaming Thank you and good to know. Mine came with the all seasons and is the Ecoboost. I saw online that the GTs need to be optioned with all seasons, so something to look for.

@@MarcNeilson Mine's an Ecoboost as well, though I bought mine in California, so the dealership itself may have optioned it that way since that state barely sees rain, let alone snow. But now I live in Missouri and when it snows I might as well be driving on a hockey rink.

Thanks - thats about the snow we get here in Australia but they dont treat the roads here so it can be fun driving at times.

Exactly same as mine, except mine's Antimatter Blue. Stay away from steep hills in those conditions--you can't make it.

Those Pirelli tires are horrible in Rain they hydroplane it about 50 55 miles an hour

Yep they do very badly I'm going with Michelin all seasons after my p zeros wear out
