Mustang 5.0 Try’s to take off on Supercharged Cobalt SS 290whp

My cobalt is FBO, Category V supercharger make 300whp and weighs about 2700lbs. I wanted to race and the guy in the 5.0 said no…then when we took off from the light he decided to floor it next to me, I hit it and pass him then was my rear quarter panel he slams the brakes. At the next red light he said “yeah man you would of f**led me up”.

Fuck i miss my cobalt ss sc
Whats done to it? I'm trying to get my 2007 Cobalt SS/SC to 300 WHP. I was thinking Stage 3 ZZP with a 2.8 pulley, meth and ZZP Stage 2 Cams. Not sure what headers are the best for street racing.

Category V Ported SC, LS4 Throttle body, ZZP longtube header, 2.8 Pulley, 80# injectors, Dual intercooler plate, ZZP HO intercooler pump, ZZP Stage 3 Heat exchanger, ZZP 3” Intake, tuned on 93. Also had lighter weight weld wheels and a slightly shorter tire.
