Dear Guru ji can you please answer this: For chanting Mahashodashi, some say we should Not add OM in beginning according to Shakti lineage schools. But some others say Om must be added and it brings impure birth according to vedas etc. Which is more correct for Srividya according to your own experience and knowledge?

Sri Matre Namaha, The beejaksharas in the mantras are limited. If it is shodashi it should be only 16, when you add any other seed letter it will become 17. For example take "Aim Hrim Sreem chamundayai vicche" this is navakshari when you add OM to the same mantra, it will become dasakshari it will give different effects. Mooladhara chakra adistana devata is ganapathi, swadhistana chakra adistana devata is bala, manipura chakra adistana devata is chandi, anahata chakra adistana devata is raja shymala, vishudhi chakra adistana devata is vaag vaadhini, Ajna chakra adistana devata is varahi, sahasrara chakra adistana devata is Lalitha devi.
