I am from a very poor family, but once I realized that schooling was the only lifeline away from poverty, I had to do everything!!!. From doing farming work to pay school fees. From trekking 3kilometre, to and from school(primary school). From having to leave school for one year and engaging in farming to get back to school. From trekking for another 2.5km everything in secondary school to contemplating suicide in 400levels in medical schools to a medical doctor. GOD should blessed the ordinary Ahmed for this great job.

School is not the only way oooo... It is the same people that went to school that are tormenting us in leadership. Isn't Education suppose to make people better? Look at the mess educated people are doing in our country, instead of confronting them, we continually tell others they need Education. Meanwhile the it is the educated that are making things really difficult for the less privileged.

Not me tearing up and going down memory lane. I went to a boarding school, a Federal Government school at that. I had an incidence where an injustice was met on me, my parents were not rich and so the principal and those involved took advantage of me. I was accused of being a witch, it still hurts but i am healing gradually. Kids go through a lot in school but most times, even if the parents want to be involved, the school will shut them out.
