Must See Megaliths in South Wales - Gower & Vale of Glamorgan

Ойын-сауық

Welcome back to the channel, in this video we’ll share our pick of the best neolithic sites in South Wales. We’ll start just ten miles from Swansea City Centre, with two strikingly different sites on Gower peninsula… then over to the Vale of Glamorgan for two more impressive structures, both a must see for anyone visiting the capital city, being less than 6 miles from the centre of Cardiff!
This video will provide a brief background on each site and info on walks and parking, but we also have individual videos for all of the locations featured, and many more… So if you want to explore the history and folklore in more detail, please head on over to our channel and subscribe!

Hi from Facebook! I just subbed. What you are doing I think is great! I just got back from Wales last month and hope to return. Maybe one day, I will meet my own lifelong partner in Welsh history and all things Cymraeg.

Did I miss one (9:00)? That looked huge. And the legends are as ridiculous as any religion stories, but the actual structures and even guesses at what when and why are fascinating. Good video.
