Hmm, this is something to consider for sure. I noticed the OnePlus has 16GB of RAM which is more than the rest. The Z Fold 6 is only going to have 12GB. Thanks for the video. It's really good to know there is another option.

I totally agree. That 16GB of RAM can definitely take multitasking to a new level. Thanks for watching and commenting. 👍

Hopped off the foldable train about 6 months ago to get a Pixel 8 and I've progressively hated it more and more. I prefer a foldable but I like throwing around my phone and not living terrified to drop it. I miss the power of the Z Fold 4 I had. I might end up trying a flagship Samsung brick and see if I can get the power I miss but the thinner pocket feel, although that still leaves me screwed on price.

Hey, I totally get what you mean. I love my Pixel Pro 8 and I use it more than my Z-Fold 5, actually. It's just easier to grab and go when I need to send a quick text or something. I wouldn't get another Z-Fold unless they make the main screen wider. That's why I'm really liking the idea of the OnePlus Open or the next Pixel Fold phone. I'm gonna be patient and see, although I would really like to review both of them. Thanks for your comment. I think you're right on the money. I appreciate your support.

Thanks for this nice video... watching on a Oneplus Open 😀 I will not buy any Z Fold anymore until the front screen gets really wider.

Hey there! I totally get what you mean. I'm not a big fan of the thin front screen on the Z Fold 5 either, especially now that there are other wider foldables out there. I actually just ordered the OnePlus Fold to check it out for myself and compare it to the Z Fold. And if the Pixel Fold 2 ever comes out, I'll definitely give that a try too. Thanks for watching and commenting, I really appreciate it!

@@GOTgoodoldtech-1964 I prefer the software of Samsung above Onplus' software. So if Samsung launches a foldable with a really wider front screen (like Oneplus Open or Honor Magic V2), I will go back to Samsung. As long as they don't do that, I keep buying other brands of foldables. Looking forward to the Oneplus Open 2 and the Honor Magic V3 (hoping the V3 gets a global launch from the start).

Yeah, I totally agree, Samsung's OneUI is the best out there right now. I even like it more than the Pixel's pure Android software. Pixels don't have a lot of features that other phones have. What I really like about Samsung's is the text or writing assistant that helps you fix and rewrite your messages, whether you're texting, taking notes, or writing something professional. I'm hoping OnePlus has something like that, or at least uses apps to do it. Well, I'm gonna find out. Thanks for sharing your thoughts; I appreciate your support.

I have the one plus open and its a great phone and I really think its still going to be better than the z fold 6 with the same shit cameras and hardly no changes and i think one plus will release great software updates especially since there is not going to be a oneplus open 2 and i got a charger in the box a case in the box stickers in the box and a adapter for transferring data in the box i got nothing with my z fold 4 i really can't believe Samsung is still going to have the same cameras with the same narrow display just a tad wider while keeping the inside screen the same size absolutely ridiculous

Hey, I feel the same way! The more I look into the OnePlus Open, the more I want one. I wonder if it'll have the AI features like the Samsung phones. The OnePlus cameras look great, but I think their software processing isn't as good as the others. I hope they work on updates and improvements. I'm planning to get the Pixel Fold 2 for review, so I might get the OnePlus too so I can compare the three top foldables. Thanks for sharing; it makes me feel better about considering the OnePlus Fold.

@@GOTgoodoldtech-1964 ah I've seen those reviewers talking about the processing to well I don't see it the one plus open has great cameras and you have to respect them for putting there best cameras on a folding phone and Marcus browlee did blind camera smartphone camera test and the OnePlus open beat all phones it was picked to be better than the iPhone 15 pro max and s23 ultra and many others the only phones that beat the OnePlus open was the Google pixel phones the processing is obviously better on pixel phones but I will take 2nd place I have gotten some amazing photos with my OnePlus open and the software is better on the OnePlus open over the Google pixel OnePlus has many more options to Googles software but I might check out the pixel fold 2 only it they put there best cameras on it

@jasonelliot9633 I do get what you're saying. I'm not one of those who just clicks and goes either. I know how to set up my photos properly, so I'm sure I would take better photos than what they show online in their reviews. I agree that they seem to have put better cameras on the OnePlus compared to the other foldables out there. I do enjoy the Pixel 9 Pro and its photography capabilities. And you're right, if they put the same cameras or better in the next Google Fold, it will be top-notch. I am intrigued by the OnePlus multitasking ability, so I am seriously considering it. Honestly, I need to get to the point where my channel is monetized so I can start affording these different phones. I'm looking forward to it. I appreciate your input. I'm glad you're part of the community, and I'll probably reach out to you if I need any assistance with the phone once I get one.

I just bought the Samsung Galaxy Fold 5 I saw the OnePlus open and I thought it was nice and the reason I chose not to buy just cause per $13 a month. Anything happens to mine? Samsung replaces it whether I drop it, whatever and for $5 more. If it's stolen, they'll replace it. And if someone tries to use it automatically wipe itself. Once they put out a signal OnePlus I have no idea how you'd even get something like that. Warranted out of China and they don't have the infrastructure here to with service centers to take care of it with Samsung 1 day. Turn around the you'll have a new phone. 1 day at your guarantee with your care plan. So when you have a business and you're using your cellphone when you're on the road. Most of the time it's something happens. I can handle 1 day, but I can't do 3 or 4 months. Waiting for the thing to ship back-and-forth to China, and how much it's gonna cost me to ship it there and back. And? If they'll even warrant it, and that's the problem

It sounds like you put a lot of thought into your purchase, which is really smart. I agree that Samsung is likely to provide more reliable support compared to OnePlus. Hopefully, you won't need any service support, since it can be a bit of a hassle no matter which brand you use. I've been lucky with my Z-Fold 5 and haven't had any issues, and I hope you have the same experience. Thanks for your comment and for your support! 👍
