    I am the proud owner of a small white enamel hand washing basin. It is ŵeathered as you gals say. I also own a small scale that my Great Grandpa used in his frontier store in Gerdane, Oregon, (not on the map.) I am now 80, so I imagine that the scale is well over 150 years old. I have observed that it is easier to make the dark colored items appear rusted and weathered than the light colored ones. I really liked your last light on the branch. Original! That's what I like and appreciate on You-Tube. I will be looking for your videos. Thanks, and God Bless you and yours. ❤

    I've had great luck with DT soars for years and I'm happy to see so many new designs this year. For outdoor use, a light coat of clear nail polish helps prevent solar panel clouding. I also use upside-down glass things over them for a glass lantern look - a simple cylinder vase is great,

    Thanks so much 😀. I'm glad you enjoyed. Great idea. I'd have to use silicone, it gets too hot here where I live, the glue wouldn't hold. So far there's no water issue, but I will definitely try it out if I notice anything. Thanks for watching. Take care 💖 🙂

    Good ideas. On the one where you used the stick on material and inked it green, what if you didn’t put the folding lattice plastic part back in? I think it competes with your glass globe’s look.

  • @creartivebynature

    @creartivebynature

    11 ай бұрын

    You could try. The top portion snaps onto the lattice, so some good adhesive would need to be used to keep it all together. I'm not sure if it would work 🤷‍♀️😉 Thanks so much for watching and for your suggestion. Take care 💕

    Yes, I'm gonna use them for a fairy house with a solar powered waterfall so I don't know the details of it yet cuz I can't use hot glue to keep it together since I'm in arizona and it would fall apart, so I could use it just to get things to stick together till the real glue cures and dries but I hope it turns out cute, Not sure if it's gonna be hanging yet or just sit on a table but probably hanging if it all works out on the hanging plant hanger I got so we shall see.

  • @creartivebynature

    Ya, I don't know if the silicone will hold while hanging, I've never tried! I don't know how strong it is. You may need to look into a stronger adhesive for construction. Sounds like a fun project!! 😃 Thanks for watching 💖

  • @iamyourmuse

    @iamyourmuse

    12 күн бұрын

    @@creartivebynature Yeah, thanks and I did look into a strong construction adhesive which is silicone so no worries. The part that is hanging will have great support and only using the silicone blue for rocks and other things within the build that I'd used to use hot glue for but then later on realized how it just fell apart from the heat. So live and learn, I think it's gonna be fabulous!
