Thanks for the tips! Here is one for keeping warping to a minimum for water coloring, wet the back side of the watercolor paper also. It warps because one side is dry. I learned this from my son, he does watercolor paintings and literally puts his large pieces of paper into a bathtub full of water before taping them to his board. Hope this helps someone.

I have used Dollar Tree napkins for collage, their nail art embellishments for shaker cards, silicone hot pads for my glue gun, hair bobbin pins to embellish as journal clips, kids toys to use with a Gelli plate, use eye shadow as pastels. I use their faux Cricut mat for my stamping platform to hold my paper. Always ask for their empty small display boxes. They work great for stamp and die storage

Mary , the look you get with pouncing a stencil brush on a surface is indeed a form of stippling. The word originally applied to the effect on pottery or clay works.

I love how you find less expensive ways to buy supplies! I'm disabled and don't have much money. The crafting is therapy for me. TYSM!

Here's my tip. Save your craft garbage. The plastic packaging is a pallet, and the cardboard adds definition to die cuts. Cut the image once with paper and once in garbage cardboard. Adhere together, run a black sharpie over the edges. Bam!

Always enjoy your videos, especially tips for using less expensive products. TFS! I use Dollar Tree's weekly pill cases for my sequins. Just make sure the lids are closed tightly when finished.

Stippling IS an artist term. We use with oils to bounce on tree leaves, shading etc. :) This sort of video is what drew me into your video's to begin with. Being retired - have to watch every penny :) Good job darlin - happy morning coffee. Will have to check out the "cooking" palette knife - LOVE doing palette knife work with oils :)

To lesson the stick on stencils or on painters tape, etc, put against your shirt or on your arm. Your natural oil removes just enough to make it removable with no damage. Love your video Mary (as always). So many good ideas. When i started out i bought most of these products and still use them a few years later. Why spend more than you have to. TFS ❤

Stippling? Also it's great to use their correction fluid for splattering. It stays white very well! And it's cheap and in a brush form so easy to flick and tap
