timing = 9:32. 'Have you ever tried blowfish.' If we would try at fugu restaurant it would expensive, but we can try by buying at supermarket reasonably/safely. China/Korea/Japan seemingly treat fugu in the world.

I appreciate your devotion/effort to our learning English. Would you mind if I ask you a question? timing = 7:51. "I'm thinking about going skiing this Saturday.' There are notes 'present continuous form cannot be used" in the definition of the word 'think' In our indigenous dictionary, like example sentence case(thinking what to do) only can be used, in other case cannot be used. How would/could we judge/decide to be able to use or not the present continuous form of 'think' about certain thought?

20240512 Sunday ☀️ Sentence Patterns Breakdown: Here's a breakdown of the sentence patterns you provided: 1. Concession followed by positive outcome: * Pattern: "It's not [adjective], but it's worth the [noun]." * Example: "It's not cheap, but it's worth the money." * Function: This structure highlights a potential drawback but emphasizes a positive aspect that makes it worthwhile. 2. Expectation vs. Reality: * Pattern 1: "This/The [noun] is a bit [adjective] than I expected." * Example 1: "This job is a bit harder than I expected." * Function: This pattern compares reality to a previous expectation, often using "a bit" to indicate a slight difference. * Pattern 2: "We are just about to [verb]." / "I was just about to [verb]." * Example 2: "We are just about to have dinner." * Function: This pattern indicates that something is about to happen very soon. 3. Lifelong desires: * Pattern: "She's always wanted to [verb]." / "I always wanted to [verb]." * Example: "She's always wanted to become a doctor." * Function: This structure expresses a long-held desire or ambition. 4. Expressing wishes: * Pattern: "I would love to [verb]." * Example: "I would love to work from home." * Function: This pattern conveys a strong desire or hope for something. 5. Considering future actions: * Pattern: "She's thinking about [verb + ing]." / "We are thinking about [verb + ing]." / "I'm thinking about [verb + ing]." * Example: "She's thinking about buying a new laptop." * Function: This structure indicates that someone is contemplating doing something in the future. 6. Past experiences: * Pattern: "Have you ever [verb + ed]?" * Example: "Have you ever traveled overseas?" * Function: This pattern inquires about someone's past experiences. 7. Reporting recent events: * Pattern: "I just [verb + ed]." * Example: "I just left my house." * Function: This structure conveys an action that happened very recently. 8. Expressing hope: * Pattern: "I hope [clause]." * Example: "I hope you get the position." * Function: This pattern conveys a wish for a positive outcome. By understanding these patterns, you can use them to form your own sentences to express various situations and ideas!
