His Duā got accepted and we came to Canada in 2012. I was 9 years old at the time. The environment definitely had an impact on me. I was never really practicing Islam until the age of 14. Also you're living in a non-muslim country please go check other albani, ibn baz and uthaymeen videos im sure it will change your perspective of what ur saying don't taki it personally i really only want good for you.

No Ifs and Buts for a person who has migrated from a muslim land to non-muslim land. For muslims born in the land of disbelievers, its a preferred Sunnaah (Mustahib) for them to leave. However, these muslims may survive their Islam, their next generation and lineage might not. They need not to be selfish, rather think about their children and their lineage.

@@truthtobetold9816 We all know this idea is based on the ruling of the Prophet (saw) when the Muslims established themselves in Medina and Muslims were commanded to immigrate there. The idea that there is even such a thing slightly comparable to that today is laughable when Muslims are divided into mostly secular nation-states based on ethnicity and the last caliphate was abolished a century ago. It is indeed clear for some Muslims in countries where Islam is not tolerated and suppressed like France, then there are places where Muslims have a strong historic identity and are tolerated despite being the minority, there is no ijmah ruling for such places. There flaws with this interpretation are too many to count; you talk about Muslims not remaining after a few generations when historically the exact opposite has happened, consider the fact that countries like Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei...etc would all be entirely kafir countries right now. Had it not been for reverts in those places deciding to stay in a majority kafir society until there numbers grew and they became the majority, if you went back in time, would you want to change that outcome? Secondly, even for people who decide to immigrate, almost all so-called "Muslim countries" with a few exceptions have strict "right of blood" only policy to residency, where its basically impossible to become settled in them even if you are born there and live there your entire life, they will never grant you legal citizenship.

To be clear... the questioner didn't say he is going to actively call people Islam. He said there is more dawah in it for him than if he was to be in a Muslim country... many Muslims today limit their "dawah" to merely mixing with non-Muslims and being polite to them (and sometimes not even being polite... just mixing with them... full stop). The translator then said "يدعو للإسلام" ie active dawah... which does change things.

@Fawaz Shaikh exactly... and the effect the kafir has on them is completely deliberate by the muslim... they genuinely go out of their way to be like them. Every hole they crawl into, they follow them. Realistically we know that most of the people that claim that they are giving dawah by living amongst them and becoming friends with them in reality don't have the niyyah to actually give them dawah through their actions... I know we shouldn't be speaking about people's niyya but let's be real... most of those guys don't do much when it comes to worshipping Allah... are we supposed to believe that despite all that, they are sincere daees to Islam "through their actions".

@Jake John that is true... keep in mind that everyone is to give dawah and say that which they know. Even if they aren't students of knowledge. They know Allah is one and that Rasool Allah is his messenger and that if we believe and do good deeds then we enter jannah and if not, we enter jahannam. This is all they need to know to give dawah. But if they don't know more than that, then they shouldn't say anything more than that. I was suggesting that they go give dawah btw... I'm just calling them out on how they tend to claim they are giving dawah by their actions whereas all they do is mingle with non-muslims and dilute the fact that they're muslim away from sight and try to be like them. To be clear, I'm not saying that about the questioner. I don't know him. I am speaking in general.

The dawah through manners and cuteness is the most joke ive ever heard of and in reality in countries where islam is weak, i.e france, sweden etc where they make laws against Islam and doesnt allow Dawah its a joke, people need to realise they must leave it. Where i am when i decided to do a presentation about the prophet peace be upon him i was not discouraged by disbelievers, no it was in fact by muslims because they argued with me the people wont take it and they will think you're preaching, "be careful" they said. There is one detail missing: in the Hadith of the 99 killed. Why was the scholar in the land that he directed the sinner to a different land? It is evident that the environment has an affect but look by just visiting Brittain, the scholar had rectified the issue of the tie. It may be that a man goes to a different land in order of necessity or for trade and whilst he is there he calls people to Islam.

In this time and age non of the Muslim countries are truely Islamic or safe countries so they cannot be called Darruslam house of peace. The Shaykh lived til recently so he did not say that this ruling is only for those who lived in previous eras when the Caliphate was existent. Rather, he said: “… the Muslims country are all the lands of Islam. So whichever country the Muslims lives in then it is their land…”. Even tho very few countries in the world today have their Shariah Law as their official Code or Constitution, there are many places or countries that the majority of populations is Muslim and also there are also some countries that do apply Shariah Law to a degree, and those are the countries which the Shaykh was talking about, in my opinion

Alhamdulillah, I made hijra 6 years ago from Europe. Some of the brothers raise a valid point: there is no Islamic country( country governed by sharia law). while this is true as far as i know, the point remains; doing hijra to a Muslim country. There is a huge difference between the land of the kuffar and Muslim lands in terms of culture, norms and environment and you will know when you have experienced both. Yes there is fitna in Muslim lands too but it' s not like the degree and type of fitna in the West. I will say this though, some Muslim countries are corrupt to the core and very instable.( third world countries) So pick one which is good or better.

How are we mean’t to give Dawah and invite other non Muslim if there are none in any western country to do it?? Also why are Muslims building Masjid in every country possible if we are not mean’t to live there?? Look: another example of why Hijrah remains a pipe dream for many Muslims: neither are they proficient in Arabic not are they proficient in English. And these are just basic language skills, let alone any technological or business skills. Muslims MUST improve themselves in terms of knowledge of Tawheed, Aqeedah and business/technological skills and then get out of kuffar countries as soon as possible. Without economic self-sufficiency, Hijrah remains a pipe-dream.

yep, their petty excuse for their weakness, "dunya". A solid counterargument is that if a country contains a muslim rulership, it is a muslim country, and that same ruler should be called prins of moslims like ex. hajjaj ibn youssef who was maybe more aggressive than any muslim ruler today. And proved that by destroying part of the ka'aba yet Anas ibn Malik did not leave and stayed in that country. Also there are those who come on vacation, the time in the year people commmonly wear less clothing and there is more fitna. And say things like "in bilad al kufr, I've seen less fitna". I dare them to go to bilad al kufr that same period, and say the same thing. Also there are meny alternative muslim countries for that "corruption" excuse, not like they get affected by it lol, poor countries always have corruption muslim or non-muslim, ever heard of 'sabr'?. Look for more translated video's of albani talking about that topic specifically may Allah have mercy upon him.

Dear brothers. I have a question and would be immensely helped if my doubt is cleared. What is the definition of an Islamic nation? To my knowledge, as per Quran the very basis of formation of an Islamic nation is 'Amro hum shura bainahum' i. e. Government should be formed based on the wishes of the people of that country. Most of the countries in the Middle East including Saudi Arabia have monarchy. Are these countries Islamic? Secondly, those countries which call themselves Islamic and have a sort of pseudo-democracy are also not following Islamic Sharia to the core. Many of these are corrupted to the core having disregard for human life, equality and other social values. Can these countries be still called Islamic just because of numerical superiority of people of a particular faith?

There are still basic Muslims laws and traditions in tact.
