Hi could you explain the different benefit between 1.5 and 2 and 2.5 depths? Can you do longer in the 1.5 and get the same amount at the 2.5 or do they penetrate different parts of the body like bone marrow etc?

I'm curious to know if there is any recommendations as to how one should breathe during a dive. I've been told "essentially normally but a little deeper than you normally would". I understand though that pace and pattern greatly affect oxygen absorption in normal atmosphere; surely that's also true during a dive. (?)

@@hyperbaric fair enough -- so no need to do a short hold at the top, some variation of box breathing, etc.? I've sort of fallen into a rhythm over the last few sessions where I breathe normally, deeper, and then try to expand lungs extra at the top... irrespective I would think there would be some room for optimization there

Yes, it's ok. You can also ask your provider if they have the capacity to do 5 mins airbrakes, so you do 20 mins 100% O2, 5 mins air through the mask, then another 20 mins O2, then another 5 min air break and the rest of the time O2 (if you are doing 60 mins sessions)

@@aczam4640 there is nothing wrong with the treatment you are receiving. The chamber is pressurized with oxygen thats why there is no mask. We like to do air brakes during the treatment and since the chamber is pressurised with oxygen the only way to provide air is through the mask
