This chord theory guitar lesson is a must for guitar players who are searching for more ways to be creative with their chord choices to add variety in their playing.
In this lesson, I will teach you what I call the ''Major/minor swap''. With this theory, we are playing our song 50% in Major, 50% in minor and changing from one to the other constantly to add constant changes of colors and moods and keep the listeners on their toes.
It's much more fun than the typical ''stick to the same key'' way of viewing chords and scales.
A side benefit that I've seen with a lot of my students, is that it finally unlocks their understanding of using modes on the guitar. I hope it will do the same for you!

Yes, they do that a lot! I have analyzed Porcupine Tree chord tricks earlier on the channel. The link is here if ever you're interested: kzread.info/dash/bejne/q3qMs6dradWvf8o.html

I think this tut moves from promising PR to some caramel prog-rock which is boring and lame.
