The ones asking for directions are good to use, however, receiving the directions, is much more difficult. 😂

Yea, I have no problems asking, but to understand the answers to the questions is another problem😅😅
Again, amazing vids! With things like pork in a dish - I would separate butanikuga into buta-ni-kuga to help people see that buta to help people figure out that means pork/pig that can be substituted as other types of meat for the same question.

いただきます has to do with someone else doing something for you (bringing you a plate etc) while くれませんか while not grammatically always so, in most cases is used to ask for permission for your actions (i.e. can I borrow the restroom; トイレを貸してくれませんか)

In more casual settings, ありがとう can be used. In some settings ども can be used as well.
