    I'm a huge Joe guy and love your list but I'd probably through in issue 37 (1st flint) and also 48 (first SGT.Slaughter) but I'm really into this sort of thing and understand you can only have so many comics on one list. Great video!

    I remember the late 80s/early 90s the most expensive book was GIJoe #2. The only first appearance was Kwin. But it had a lower print run since retailers usually cut orders for issue 2. That lasted until a market crash.

    There are a few different opinions out there as to when the Copper Age begins and ends, but we just use the date range provided by CGC, since they are the ones grading the books. The range they give for Copper Age is 1980 through 1989

    We're not selling any of our personal GI Joe holdings at this time. We think there is still room to grow for many issues, especially #1. That being said, it's a hot market right now so if you could use the money for something else, it wouldn't be hard to get top dollar.

    You forgot Flints 1st app, and Serpentor’s 1st app...huge characters in the cartoon series

  • @CertifiedCollectibles

    @CertifiedCollectibles

    3 жыл бұрын

    Flint and Serpentor are indeed popular characters from the cartoon, but their first comic appearances (issues #37 and #49 respectively) don't really command that much of a premium on the market - as of yet anyway. Both of these issues can be found in 9.8 for $100-$150, so until they show stronger price action we can't recommend them for investment. But, they are great books to add to your collection if you're working on a G.I. Joe collection.

    Do you like any of the Marvel legends action figures? Toy biz line

  • @CertifiedCollectibles

    @CertifiedCollectibles

    3 жыл бұрын

    The Marvel Legends toy line definitely brings back memories, so I personally like that line of toys, but more for nostalgia than value. Some figures do command a premium, but there just aren't as many collectors out there for the Marvel Legends as there are for some of the other lines, so if you're looking to sell a collection in the future it may be more difficult to get full value.
