Great video Klutch. I agree with your list of must have mods for the most part. Other must have mods IMHO I use in addition include: Disable Collision Camera, No Crosshair, Growth Control, Lime for Auger Wagons and occasionally the High Yield mod. Of the ones you mentioned here I use Follow Me and Courseplay the most.

That duramax is an awesome truck and one of my favorites!

A handy thing about omni-directional direct-mount plows like that is you can put them on a machine with reverse-drive capability (I tend to prefer the Valtra S and T-series for mowing, direct-mount plowing and direct-mount cultivating) and work it the same way a Forklift, Combine or Forage Harvester would operate, with rear-steer, which IMO is the only way to fly when you have to do precise work. I've been driving forklifts in warehouses and freight yards for decades now, so driving with rear-steer feels more natural to me as well.

Nice list, I agree with all of them but I think I would put the 'create field with cultivators' mod in place of the weba and I can't imagine playing the game without growth control at this point.

If you're into horses, I would highly recommend the horse trailer pack by the Expendables. It comes in a 3 horse and 6 horse version.

It really bothers me that Giants didn't implement half of the things in this video. I know they're a smaller company, but hell take and extra year in-between games and give us a better experience. I don't like having to rely on outside mods for basic things like Courseplay, especially when said modders sometimes release and never update.

was kind of expecting seasons to be on the list. On the other hand, seasons might need an entire video on it's own

The other animals need a mod like cattle breeds to add a bit of depth to all of the animal gameplay. I use a PC mod called VehicleControlAddon. It is pretty much abandoned, but it has a nice and simple gps feature in it.

Hey Klutch great list. Personally I would have put the Growth Control mod above the weba. I agree the weba is really nice and in my top 10 but the growth control mod really adds a lot of realism because you can set each crop to grow at different rates. It completely transforms the game (till we have seasons).

My most pressing need and frustration with the base game is the lack of a simple flat bed trailer that the pickup can pull to move around small equipment, attachments, or seed bags etc.

Also... I haven't played 19 yet.... but have they added a mobile fertilizer and seed hopper, or mobile pressure washer? These would really come in handy... especially if they had smaller ones that a pickup truck could pull. Pickup trucks should also be made more useful with upfit kits... with equipment that trucks ACTUALLY USE in the agriculture industry, such as bed mounted fertilizer spreaders, sprayers, pull behind skid load bale collectors, vacuum loaded hoppers in both bed/frame mount and tow behind models.

The dolly with the pin hitch is necessary to hook a semi truck trailer to the sugar cane harvester.

The Weba 6M is awesome. 6m plow you can use with a cheaper medium tractor and half again as fast as comparable plows. Wow.

Hi there, for the first mod, place anywhere, and your under tree shed. The issue with the branches sticking through the building, can you not use a chainsaw and lop the branch off while it is still stood? ie can you cut the tree up without chopping it down first? Just a thought :~)

where did you get that truck from in the beginning and end? Seems very well modeled, and has a gooseneck attachment very nice.

Do you have the straw path behind you as a mod? Like when you cultivate it counts as one fertilizer stage right?

There is a way to get Courseplay to do the circles around the field without doing so many headlands. On the course generator screen, do no headlands. Also, under "field center (experimental)," choose spiral. It will automatically go around the field in a circle.

i installed the courseplay mod. but cant see it in the mods section. is it normal?

FS19 doesn't let me use the place anywhere mod. Says its not compatible with any of my maps (including county line) and causes the game to crash if I don't disable it.

Which map were you on with the placements?

You should check out the Gen3 Dodge 3500 flatbed crew-cab from Blue Modding. It's the only FS19 pickup mod I've ever tried that gets the suspension right, and they look absolutely gorgeous to boot. You can also configure them in both flat-bed and long-bed variants, and the paint textures look rather good. They're not exactly brute-force power-houses, but in a game with the wonky traction and physics like FS19, that's a good thing. It's far too easy to flip over fast moving cars and trucks in this game, and without the Extended Driving mod (switchable 4x4 and diff locks), it's almost impossible to make exceptionally powerful cars and pickups behave in FS19. FS19 is the only game where I typically choose the lowest power engine when buying cars and pickups. It just makes more sense. Extremely powerful semis, harvesters and tractors behave just fine in FS19, but cars and trucks do not.

Easy roofing made possible by Kluth (3:16) LOL. I rarely use AutoDrive in the ModHub, Courseplay has the same options and why have two mods installed when Courseplay can do a lot more in my opinion. With that said I haven't played around with AutoDrive that much either when I have been on the other for so long. I would say for me if someone likes to be in first person mode or inside their vehicles, Mogli12/VehicleControlAddOn is a great must have. This mod automatically switches camera view when you put your tractor in reverse to back up to anything so you don't have to pan around 180 and then pan back with the player cam. Another great thing is that you can edit the XML settings after the first run to save default settings the way you like that way you don't have to change settings on every piece equipment at the time of purchase. Also, you can set up each equipment to behave differently as well, while in-game by going to the in-game control menu settings for this mod with ctrl+C. This mod is on GitHub and was updated 12 days ago at the time of this post. Klutch I am with you on the Weba 6M and I have done everything you mentioned about that plow in my game. I know I would be lost without that mod, smaller tractors can use that plow when you put it on backwards when normally they wouldn't plow at very good speeds, granted they cannot plant or seed however sometimes just getting the job done so a bigger implement can come in is all one needs. PLUS, workers have absolutely no problems using this mod, which is great for you can hire a worker and basically forget about it, with the exception of edge clean up here and there. Great video Kluth.

Klutch, no problem, thanks for the great videos. What is great is that your style of play on FS is very similar to how I play it so it's always fun catching different ideas on how to do something. What works and what doesn't as well as ideas of doing something I never thought of doing.

Check sintax of file names. FS hate spacebar, only undescore is right. Also mod must be zip file.

FS also hates numbers at the end of the file name. Check your log file as well, every time you load the game it will tell you why a certain mod is not loading

You need to hold down right control I believe and the "a" or "d". Right Shift if you're in the second vehicle....or maybe I have that backwards.

modhub added another plow its about 12m wide and what we need ots 200hp if uare broke just lease tractor with that horse power range and u get wider impliment . with that mod i can plow in 15km/h speed thats awesome 😅

Do you know of any issues with Coursplay? I wiped my PC (it was full!) When doing a fresh install I downloaded my mods they all work but courseplay isn't showing as installed in the game start mod screen nor in game

Did you download the master (courseplay-master.zip) from github? If you did the files are in a subfolder so they are not detected correctly. The files in a zip such as a .lua, modDesc.xml, etc. files should be directly viewable as soon as the zip is opened.

Also if you do the Courseplay-master.zip file you should look for an update because the newer versions on the Github are packaged for direct install and the modders are constently improving the mod with updates.

Make sure you delete all the files in your FS19 "Shader_Cache" folder before installing Courseplay.zip in your mods folder, otherwise it probably will not load up in the game. That's what I had to do when my system crashed and I lost all the mods in my mods folder. Fortunately, I had created a mods backup folder that saved me from having to redownload numerous mod files. Once I got the shader cache folder cleaned out, Coursplay installed without any issues. Hope this helps!

What map is this ?

Just curious, I understand there is alot to do in the game but why is everything done by AI? I don't get the point in playing a game if you aren't really playing it. Sorry if my question is rude, I just want to understand.

I haven't tried yet to see if it works on FS19 , but on 17 with the Weba6m if you had a tractor smaller than 180hp(recommended power) you could attach it backwards and it nullified the performance reduction on the smaller HP tractor. The Weba was truly a gift from the Gods!!

I remember that as well. I remember testing that when it first came out and I seem to remember that this one didn’t get the same perks as in 17.

It’s actually not a “Plow” but a large sub soiler. Hence why you can go faster with enough horsepower, but as far as the game is concerned it does in fact leave ploughing furs.

had a weird problem with the weba not being recognized by my game. simple fix that worked for me was to extract files useing 7zip then select all the files that were just extracted and using 7zip right click and selecting the option add to " FS19_Weba_6M.zip " i don't know why i need to do this but it works now thanks!

The only way I get any of the mods is playing the game on steam. I am having difficulty downloading the mods on my PC. . I don't have the use of the greatest internet. And it is really a pain when you go on line and have to download things one at a time

just go to the site and go through all the pages. If you use google then use the chrono download manager then you can just keep clicking and watch the creamy mod goodness drizzle all over your pc :~)

Looking at buying a pc. I’m tired of playing this game on console. Any recommendations on prebuilt models that would run fs smooth.

Entry level Amd Ryzen cpu's are looking like a very feasible option. So like a Ryzen 3 or 5, matched with an nvidia 960, 980 or even a 1050 should give you some decent performance. I listed those graphics cards because they come in 4gb versions. I wouldn't suggest going lower than that. Desired mods that I haven't seen yet: "Chain" - purchased in the shop, selected in first person (like the chainsaw), allows you to connect vehicles to other vehicles or items, and bind items together. "Post Anchor" - allows you to place logs vertically, as fence posts... or uprights for structures "Lashing" - allows you to fix contact points on logs "Wood harvester" - harvester wagon with built in pickup, chipper, and hopper... allows you to simply drive over wood scraps, twigs, and stumps, and turns them into wood chips, with rear discharge storage hopper. "Offset harvester hitch" - hitch that connects to any harvester, allowing it to tow it's own chaser bin. Say it with me... VENTRAC brand equipment!

Also: "Drag link" or "tail hitch" - allows trucks to connect to standard ball and pin hitch chaser bins, etc. Traction driven antique equipment, such as balers, mowers, etc... that can be pulled and operated by anything with a hitch. "Harness": allows horses to be connected to equipment. "Carriage": horsedrawn, allows you to hire worker, travels the town and sales rides to citizens. Offered in two models... a white parlor carriage, and a black hearse. Add "courtship", "wedding", "honeymoon" and "funeral" missions. Add police cars to the funeral procession, blocking AI vehicles from entering the route, and leading as escorts.
