Even as a pro videographer, I underestimated how challenging making content would be. So first I recommend the basics: 4k camera (under $2k), SD card (300mb/s), and a tripod. Best purchase I made is an aputure 120D to easily light my setup. THIS IS HUGE. Not relying on a window or a bunch of little lights which is a headache.
