    All time fave things are muslin blankets, we used them to swaddle our girl, but then used them to lay her own, wipe up spit up, cover her up, cover stroller\car seat, and she still uses them every night at bed and she's 2.5. It's like her security blanket. She holds the tag and it soothes her to sleep. Also, as they're a little older, we love those cups ehe can put her hand in and pull snacks out but they don't fall out.

    I've watched a lot of baby essential videos and yours is my favorite! You made it very clear on what worked really well. I added a few of your recommended items to the registry and was reassured about the ones I already had in there. Thank you! 💜

    Thank you for the video, it was so informational! Pregnant with my first baby and this is the first grandchild so I’m feeling overwhelmed with what I “need” via parents and their excitement versus what the baby actually needs. I keep hearing I need a glider/rocker but I don’t really have the space and will be moving out of state within a year. Is a glider an “essential” in your opinion? Thanks so much again for the content! Subscribed :)

    Danielle Gross definitely wasn’t essential for me! When I was learning to nurse it was easier for me to feed her on the couch or in our bed and I honestly rarely used our rocking chair in the beginning! Also congratulations!! Thank you so much for subscribing! 💛

    Some people say that baby bath tub doesn’t make sense. You have to fill up the bathtub high so they can have some water under them.

  • @EmAtHome

    @EmAtHome

    3 жыл бұрын

    We never filled the tub too full....just to our comfort level. We would just keep a washcloth over the baby to keep her warm and then used a cup to pour water to wash, rinse and keep the washcloth warm.

    I think you made the mistake of buying a bath tub and forgetting to buy the newborn inserts that go with them... they pretty much do exactly the same thing as the angelcare insert, they just attach to the edge of the plastic tub.

  • @EmAtHome

    @EmAtHome

    4 жыл бұрын

    Georgina Hollenbach we used a different bathtub with a newborn insert when she was a newborn. I just think the Angelcare would have been easier from the start for us. It was more that I didn’t like filling a bathtub on our counter because we didn’t have much space for that and we had a big baby from the start so she didn’t feel super secure to me in the newborn insert.
