    The Sunnah Guy talks to the youth in a language they can understand. Great role model. We need more knowledgeable people to connect with the youth like this bc the youth are the future. May Allah swt guide them and guide us all to the straight path Ameen ❤

    On the final point - it is actually far more than 2-3 years of your life that you lose visa-vis social media - many people today spend upwards of 40 hours per week on social media. If you calculate that amount over 80 years, that is 19 years of your life completely wasted on social media, not including sleep.

    Sunan Ibn Majah 1740 It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to fast on Mondays and Thursdays. It was said: “O Messenger of Allah, why do you fast on Mondays and Thursdays?” He said: “On Mondays and Thursdays Allah forgives every Muslim except two who have forsaken one another. He says: ‘Leave these two until they reconcile.’”

    Because you dont consider yourself attractive? That doesn't hinder your ability to worship Allah so is it a curse, is it bad? No it is not. There are people in poverty in the west and in third world countries, yet they have never questioned Allah and remain steadfast. Ayyub AS was suffering fron illness for years and never questioned Allah. So take some time to work on yourself, look to the stories of the Prophets and get out of this mindset that you have to be good looking to be successful a life and the hereafter. This world is only temporary

    Yes, the church does this as well. They manipulate people with kindness and belonging to bring them in. Therein lies the problem - religious belief if often more about emotions and faith rather than reason.

  • @ReemSalah28

    Islam asks you to reason, to question. It isn't blind faith like Christianity. You're supposed to learn and seek knowledge. It's part of your duty as a Muslim

    @@ReemSalah28 Then, why is the speaker suggesting emotional tactics to bring people to Islam instead of reasoning?

  • @iiddrrii6051

    @iiddrrii6051

    @@ReemSalah28 I think it's good you have that understanding to reason and question. Divine Evil and Divine Hiddenness are unresolved challenges of reason. If God wants us to know him, then non-resistive non-belief should not exist. However, non-resistant non-belief does exist. Therefore you are faced with an illogical conclusion where non-resistive non-believers are properly shown Islam and sent to Hell to burn forever. This also touches on Divine Evil - it's illogical for a good and merciful being to so predispose some people into not believing in Islam that they should be tortured forever. THis is sadistic. Even if we grant, for the sake of argument, that hell is just for people worshiping the wrong Gods, then why create them in the first place? If I knew as a person, that if I have children, there is a 100% chance they will all grow up to be the most vile murderers, then I would never have children. Especially if I had to torture them forever as a punishment. The "life is a test" idea does not solve this issue because an omniscient being can still design a test that we can learn from and causes moderate harm. Instead, Islam proposes a God that creates criminals to do the horrible crimes, then inflicts maximum torture on these beings. Therefore, if there's a God, he cannot be both good and all powerful.

    @@iiddrrii6051 Listen again carefully, he said some are thinking of leaving due to emotional reasons or due to some trauma and not feeling a sense of belonging in which case you show them love, and some on the other hand due to actual doubts in which case you answer their questions

    @@IlmQuarter Yes, I caught that part. Maybe I misunderstood what “leaving the deen of Islam” means. Because it it’s a matter of belief and faith, then the problem of emotions remain. However, it's a well-known phenomenon that building social connections is an avenue to all sorts of beliefs - even when they are mutually exclusive.
