for certain places like the cafe and ryokan, what is the status of halal there? Others there's muslim friendly and halalmentioned but the cafe and ryokan didnt mention any of that. Are their meat and oil used from halal sources? No mirin involved?

As long as Muslims follow their religion peacefully and do not distort or destroy or convert any other foreign tradition, culture, and people respectively, I have no problem. Hijab is fine, but never Niqab or burqa. Making prayer spaces for Muslims is also fine to some extent so that they don't become too strong and start forcefully or even love jihad in a peaceful country like Japan, India wasn't fortunate to avoid that, but I hope Japan is. Love and support from a halal country India to all dear Muslim brothers and sisters, may all Abrahamic religions stop fighting with eachother.

Japan, stop being friendly with a culture that will erase yours... 😓
