This was phenomenal. What a beautiful brother - Ashley. May Allah swt reward him immensely for his patience, struggles and perseverance. I feel ashamed at the racism he received from sections of the Muslim community. All I saw from Ashley Belal was sincerity ! Well done Musa for being a great host. Great podcast ❤️
Racism, anti-blackness and colourism are serious issues that every Muslim needs to actively tackle, starting with being critical of the thought processes we have been conditioned to and unlearning our conscious and unconscious racial bias.

All due to culture . I hate it . Biggest sickness . Culture and nationalism is what’s separating the Ummah.
Brother when you told about your mother willing to go to the mosque, i felt my hair raising up. I think that Allah's miracle's are not obvious but the impact is so great. May Allah bless you and your family with Jennah.
MashaAllah, the Podcast is looking good brothers.

Allahu Akbar. The best part for me was brother Ashley explaining about how his mother and sister became Muslims. Emotional.
MashAllah this is very deep, and I needed this. Wallahi the racism in this ummah makes you very rebellious. But Alhamdulilah all we have to do is hold on tight to the rope of Allah (SWT), and to never forget about the end goal which is to please Allah, and make it to paradise.
amazing muslim bilal. i worry so much about my 3 sons growing up in this world of fakeness but listening to you walahi just reminded me of what tawakal is! SubhanAllah this was really deep. May Allah always protect you and keep you firm.Ameen
Ma sha Allah what a brother, may Allah bless him with a beautiful spouse and many more success in his life. Ameen
Gotta love this brudda. Also the presenter is organic with very good questions mashallah. Alhamdullilah. May Allah love and forgive us all and teach us and bring us more goodness. Ameen.

In this world the truth is so distant it sounds amazing when spoken and heard. Path to Allah sincerity, principle and trust. Much respect this interview is necessary.
I have never really known of Ashley but after watching this I have to say what an absolutely genuine, refreshing, calm demeanor he has mashaAllah. To consider the fact he is well known, he is such a humble man mA and it's just so heartwarming to watch and hear. Especially the way he speaks about the relationship between and individual and Allah (SWT)...wow.
I think I will convert soon Muslim people are real their a family and I need a family cause I feel lost out here 🙁🙏

This was beautifully put together. Excellent podcast! May Allah bless both brothers with happiness and success both in this life and the next. Ameen. Both inspirational. ❤️🙏🏽
This is a fantastic interview. Very refreshing!!
When I first came to the Northeast from down South I joined the Black Panthers. After awhile I went from there to the Nation of Islam, and from there finally to the Ummatal islaamiyya. At first I thought that I had finally found a racist free society but soon I found out that I was way wrong.. Yes. I was astounded to fine racism among the very descendants of the final prophet of the true Faith. But I started concidering certain things about which Nabi Muhammad saaws had warned future generations, like: "my people will do the same which the Christians and Jews have done so much so that if one of them went into a serpents hole then one of my people will do the same" This is a horrible indictment for the Arabs. But he did not stop there. The Prophets Muhammad saaws had a prophetic dream where he saw himself in Jannah sitting at his fountain and he saw a large group of his companions approaching the gate, but when they got to the gate a voice was herd to say "Do not let them enter!" The prophet cried out "My Companions, my companions! The voice again was herd to say "Yes but you do not know what they changed after you left!" It is clear that rasoolilaahi saws knew that the Arabs would change for the worst and invent lies and racism just as the others Ahle Kitaab had done before them. Perhaps that is why he said before he left them: WOE TO THE ARABS for that which is to befall them.
I loved listening to you all touch on the topic of racism in Islam! It sure does affect faith and pulls away from the community. Good job on bringing it up!
Love this setup and the brothers on this
mashallah loving it and big ups to brother Ashley

Such a humble nice human being I see can why Allah guided him....
Muslim Belal is so sweet. Its too bad for the woman who missed out on marrying him. He has beautiful genetics- nice skin, nice hairline, nice teeth, nice personality. I married an African man who is also so handsome. I'm coloured I have a(black mother and white father), and my children (7) are beautiful in my eyes, with their different shades of colour. I'd be happy if my children marry a pious spouse regardless of colour or culture, wealth or social standing. I tell my children to be proud, and I do want to contribute to a shifting mindset, that dark skin is not bad. I'm all for black pride, especially because my sons, daughters and husband is black. I remember my daughter's cousin making a derogatory comment about colour, saying something like, she didn't want to go in the sun because she'll get too dark like my daughter. I felt like slapping her but I responded strategically saying how beautiful my daughter's skin is.
Amazing, I will convert very soon. I just need some help and guidance

The way these brothers believe in Islam is true Islam. Which is to focus on yourself. And your religion is between YOU and GOD, you aren’t going to get judged on someone else’s sins so don’t point the finger when you see others doing wrong. Also we are so harsh when it comes to forgiving others yet we would like god to forgive us quickly and we barely ever repent ourselves What the brother said about the Islamic social culture being fake is so true I ain’t perfect myself, far from it but just posting this in hope to guide another fellow human

Rich Texas No offense brother, but you really didn’t get the message. Muslims are a community, and the Prophet (SAW) said it is like a human body. When one part of the body is in pain, then the rest of the body feels it. This brother is highlighting the problems in the ummah we need to fix to go back to the way Muslims were in the first, and second generations. As a Muslim you’re supposed to care for your brother, and sisters after you care for your iman.

Xassan Daxir I did get the message and yeah u should help and guide fellow humans but what I’m saying is don’t get caught up in others peoples lives so much and don’t be quick to point the finger and label someone negatively. If everyone focused on becoming the best versions of themselves we’d all be ok
