55 years old from South Africa and still feel every emotion when I hear this song. Freddie was a huge loss, today’s artists would get so schooled when compared to professionalism of Queen and the voice of Freddie.
The man is dead over 30 years and his voice still brings people to tears. This is what a legacy looks like. Queen were supreme.

I saw them in concert after Freddie had died. They had another singer. For this song, Brian May came and sat with his guitar and played the song, and the audience sang it themselves and the singer didn't come on stage at all. It was actually really touching.

@@ginamontminy4339 Queen is definitely all four of them but you can get a wonderful song with just Freddie on vocals and Brian May on guitar. You couldn't really do the same with just Freddie and Roger or just Freddie and John. However, you still need all four of them for the full Queen experience.

I'm 67 and took my daughter, 41 years younger than I, to see Queen in 2019. I had to pass the torch to a younger generation. I guess I could start with my daughter. She loved Adam Lambert. Queen incorporated clips of Freddy to keep Freddy's memories going. You have to see them in concert. Totally awesome, down memory lane, and seeing so many young kids seeing them for the first time makes me elated. Queen will continue for a long time.

Breaks my heart every time I hear this song. It's as if every time is the first time..thank you Freddy and Brian for a master piece.
Freddie’s voice… gets you in the feels every time. Don’t forget a shout-out for Dr Brian May on the guitar - this was written as a piano piece, which don’t always transfer easily to guitar. Plus it’s not the easiest guitar piece in the world, and he’s playing it ON A DAMN’ 12-STRING! Plenty of guitarists hook a thumb over the neck to catch the low E string for some chords - Dr May is the only one I know of who does this on the low E *and* the A string. Much respect.

I heard that song many times and every time it makes me cry. Try to watch the live concert from Rio '85. "Love of my life" sung by 250 thousands of people. Today there is no such concerts. In my opinion he was one of the greatest singer ever..
We lost Freddie far to early… this world would be so much brighter with him in it
this song was just for mary austin. a woman that he saw as a lifelong partner and wife. thats just true love for you right there. even all of freddie's partners said that the couldn't replace mary
It’s nice to see a reaction video that doesn’t interrupt greatness ! Freddie had a voice unmatched to history ! Thanks for sharing !🙏
Used to sing my baby to sleep every night with this - and was so lucky to see it performed twice at knebworth and Wembley - live magic ❤
I was at that Montreal concert. It was fantastic beyond words. I was born and lived in Toronto. A bunch of pals drove 5 hours to Montreal, went to the concert and drove home to Toronto. We couldn’t afford a hotel! It was fantastic. We were up front near the stage. It took a week for my hearing to recover. But was it ever worth it.
His personality keeps amazing me Even "just sitting" on a stool, he fills the whole stage. Freddie is the biggest entertainer in history
Still gets me every time. Queens ‘moment’ with every live audience, the joy of experiencing this emotion at 4 live concerts is unmatched. Freddie……King. ❤

if you cry with this love of my life performance you should see Rock in rio from 1985. The Brazilian crowd surprised Freddie and it was so beautiful that he let the crowd sing most of the song. Brian's performance of love of my life at Rock in rio 2015 was dedicated to Freddie and it's fantastic too.
Same goosebumps when I am hearing Steve Perry. I love these legends.
Although this performance is superbly done, Love Of My Life (IMO) is better at 1986 Wembley. But, if you really want to see Freddie completely overwhelmed by the audience's love for him, you must watch this song performed at Rock'nRio. I tear up every time. Incredible. Lovely reaction, thank you.

@@spamvicious Sorry, Love of My Life was written around 1974-75, years before Freddie ever met David, and just after he fully came out as bi; which was when Mary left their romantic relationship. Also, look at the actual lyrics for the song.

"Love Of My Life" so beautiful.❤
Mom past 3years ago .she had respiratory heart failure.she fought for 8 years .god blessed her.
Freddy was simply perfect, there is no other way to put it. His ability to connect with every person in the audience is unparalleled.
We are truly blessed to have had someone so talented and Brilliant as Freddie in our lives.
Freddie is the KING of Queen......so sad that we lost him so tragically. The Greatest of All Time. We miss you, and love you Freddie. 😞😞😞
I want to thank you for appreciating Freddie as we "Boomers" do. IQueen was a bit b4 my time, but I was a late 80's kid who loved all music. Queen spoke to me... This song, made me cry WITH you, the love of my life took his life. I never felt it with a song as I did tonight with you. I'm sobbing, but in a good way. Thank you precious girl
for those who dont know or never tried: it is fookin hard to play a 12 string with such gentle touch and precision, its crazy how much power brian has in his fingers, his wife must be a lucky one for sure!
Mercury and May were just incredible, truly legends
This week I saw the movie on Netflix and I haven't stopped watching its videos, I don't know why I've missed them these 20 years and I've cried buckets, especially this song and the last ones from 1991.
I was lucky enough to see Queen live 5 times...3 nights at Wembley arena, Ellen Road Leeds and St James Park.

I’m so jealous of it!!
Great reaction to Queen , no backing tracks, no technology , just four great musician who have all written hits . Its great to see young people still loving Queen music and of course the masterful Freddie. So many to listen to somebody to love at the same concert , Queen at live Aid the best 25 minutes you will see they just stole the concert. These are jut two suggestions . Loved your reaction, definitely a new subscriber
