I respectfully disagree. Roger Taylor’s drums, vocals, and writing number 1 hits is as much part of Queen. Also John Deacon’s bass and writing number 1 songs are all part of Queen.

@@ginamontminy4339 Queen is definitely all four of them but you can get a wonderful song with just Freddie on vocals and Brian May on guitar. You couldn't really do the same with just Freddie and Roger or just Freddie and John. However, you still need all four of them for the full Queen experience.

I'm 67 and took my daughter, 41 years younger than I, to see Queen in 2019. I had to pass the torch to a younger generation. I guess I could start with my daughter. She loved Adam Lambert. Queen incorporated clips of Freddy to keep Freddy's memories going. You have to see them in concert. Totally awesome, down memory lane, and seeing so many young kids seeing them for the first time makes me elated. Queen will continue for a long time.

Freddie’s voice… gets you in the feels every time. Don’t forget a shout-out for Dr Brian May on the guitar - this was written as a piano piece, which don’t always transfer easily to guitar. Plus it’s not the easiest guitar piece in the world, and he’s playing it ON A DAMN’ 12-STRING! Plenty of guitarists hook a thumb over the neck to catch the low E string for some chords - Dr May is the only one I know of who does this on the low E *and* the A string. Much respect.

I was at that Montreal concert. It was fantastic beyond words. I was born and lived in Toronto. A bunch of pals drove 5 hours to Montreal, went to the concert and drove home to Toronto. We couldn’t afford a hotel! It was fantastic. We were up front near the stage. It took a week for my hearing to recover. But was it ever worth it.
