Sitti - did not even know what a drum is until 2014 she play a makeshift drum (she hit the bass with her right hand) Widi - did not even know what a bass is untill 2014 she play bass on accoustic guitar, which is not what you usually do when you play bass. Marsya - start playing guitar in 2014. She is more of a leader, songwriter, and a mother to other member of vob rather than guitar player and singer. Knowing all of that, after just three years they started playing and form a band. For me this level of performance is just amazing.

Lord, so much to comment on, but I'll just say that it sounds fantastic to my ears. I really like what she's doing with the strumming. I really don't know why anyone is complaining; if you want something that sounds like a perfect recreation of the original track, then go buy the original record and listen to that. Then there's the whole aesthetic of the garage band. It's the garage bands of the world that are the most important, because they just let loose on their favourite tunes, play them the way they want and come up with a whole new concept. The way I see it, rock is about rebellion and saying f. off to those that decide you can't do this or that. So basically, those who criticize are the ones being rebelled against. And don't get me started on the whole punk aesthetic. It's whole premise was that anyone can play what they want, without record companies and self-proclaimed purists getting in the way. Sorry about the rant, but I felt I just had to shed some light on this.

This was 7 years ago, they were younger and not as polished as today, obviously, but they are true to themselves and always smash a good cover. I like that both of you are musicians and give a bit of tech talk to the vid. Bravo.

I started getting to know the tool in 2014 and in 2017 played on synchronize... and 5 years later in 2022 played again on synchronize. I like the appearance of the Chop Suey cover...

This is classic VOB. They always make it their own. Not sure if the date when it was recorded but they look very young. This could be early in their career.

they were 17 and 16 years old at that time you can imagine VOB just started learning in 2014 from 0, even a year later they covered Toxit City... it's really an unusual thing because most of their age choose pop music or something other than loud music... it's a shame that the VOB video channel has been private for a long time and I I also don't know the reason why

Have not heard of VOB before. This is an interesting cover for sure. They did the same thing The Warning did with their original Enter Sandman cover and Atlas Rise cover by slightly changing the bass line to fill in for the missing second guitar. Though The Warning didn't change things up to the extent VOB did with this cover.

There are a lot of bad videos of Mighty Island on youtube. The best one I've found for sound and video quality is @zonaulin's (search youtube for: @zonaulin voice of baceprot mighty island). If anybody knows of a better version, please reply here. (I've been listening to Mighty Island again and again and again. I love it so much)

By the way, how VOB is normally pronounced it’s Voice of Bachehprot (not how it’s spelt but it is how it’s supposed to sound)
