To answer your questions: - OOR had 2 guitarists when they started; Alex (lead) and Toru (rhythm, backing vocals). Alex left in 2009. Toru took his place as lead guitar, and the band re-arranged their songs to be played for one guitar. What you see at the back is their guitar tech. - Tomoya (drummer), Toru (guitar), and Ryota (bass) do backing vocals in live shows combined with Taka's pre-recorded backing vocal tracks. Check out "Cry Out" live from 2017 Japan Dome Tour, Toru does the scream parts in that. - Also, how cool is that ending?! 🤘

One of my OOR favs for sure! If you haven’t checked it out yet you should really look up “I was king” (orchestra Japan tour) it’s absolutely fenomenal. The kind of tune you will blast on your car speakers every time!

This song was written by Ryota (bass) and Tomoya (drummer) that why is heavier in those instruments. I love how talented and versatile this band members are. They all do vocals. Lots of backup screams are usually done by Toru (guitarist) and Tomoya ( drummer). ❤Thank you for your reactions ❤

PLEASE do more one ok rock! They're amazing and their live performance ability is crazy. I know you have watched clock strikes but you must see the live version from 2023 luxury disease Japan tour! Also 'let me let you go' is a more poppy song BUT the 2023 Luxury disease version when live they mix it up and really showcase every musician gets their own moment I also love the song 'eye of the storm' but fr there's lots more to see. Worth checking out some of Taka's covers too that showcase his vocals if you like that.

ONE OK ROCK is one of the BEST bands in the world. So glad you're enjoying them!! A couple more suggestions: I WAS KING kzread.info/dash/bejne/hKx3p6-yYJWYdNI.html RENEGADES kzread.info/dash/bejne/goOcu8SPpLSxj9I.html ^^^^^^ RENEGADES was the outro / ending credits song for a martial arts movie called Rurouni Kenshin: The Final. There are several Rurouni Kenshin movies, and that was the last one in the series. Here's the trailer, if you're interested. (But if you're going to watch the movies, watch them in order so you understand the story line.) kzread.info/dash/bejne/l3V1k7x9g6a9mqw.html

Another suggestion, but for a different musician / band: Do you know the song, "Legends Never Die," by Against the Current? It was featured at the 2017 League of Legends World Championship intro. Original audio here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZoVomNqSobjdirQ.html There's the most INCREDIBLE cover by a Korean singer named Kim Yeji who was on a band competition with some other musicians (and after the competition they actually formed a band called KARDI.) You really have to hear this - they added a beautiful Korean flavor to the song, and you will be blown away by Kim Yeji's voice. kzread.info/dash/bejne/pn2Hscd_n9LXms4.html

First off, One Ok Rock is a rock band, they’re not a metal band. As you should know there are different genres in rock: hard rock, soft rock, punk rock, etc. One Ok Rock cannot be pigeonholed, they can do anything. They have harder rock, rock ballads and love songs. Don’t expect for them to be a heavy metal band, that’s ridiculous. If they incorporate pop, it’s because, unfortunately, they’re catering to Western audiences. Personally, I enjoy the older One Ok Rock where they did this song and other songs like Take It To the Top, Liar Liar and others. Stop talking about pop, if you don’t like that they slow it down, watch some heavy metal where idiots scream all the time and have no variety. Thank you!
