One of my favs from overload

my absolute favorite XH song, you guys are so right that it's incredibly underrated! thank you guys for checking it out and appreciating XH's music!

This track is CRIMINALLY underrated! it's my #1 xh track for sure but i feel like that's an unpopular take because they have so many good songs. I'm so glad you guys started Overload, this album plays with so many sounds, you guys are gonna have a blast!

The ending of Zzz... with the cutting sound and laugh also connects to the beginning of the next song on the tracklist which is the title song Haircut, so i recommend listening to those songs together its genius!! Their overload album was more experimental and heavier rock so it wasnt too popular with the general public but for my taste its so fun and engaging, XH only releases no-skip bangers 😎👍 Can't wait to see your reaction to the rest of their discography because they keep getting better and better!

Honestly this whole album was banger after banger. I know you commented on the album cover and the look, but to me, because it was released in november, i was thinking of snow and sweeney todd vibes. But i do appreciate you explaining the lyrics and meaningfulness. It's cool to learn and get to appreciate them more

never a dull moment listening to xdinary heroes' music, they're absolutely insane. "Zzz.." being the Overload album's opening song really sets the tone for the whole album, such a good track

This is my favorite xdinary heroes song too. Or at least at the very top of the list. I remember when the album first dropped, a lot of people said that the lyrics don't make sense and that they're weird. And I was like, it's literally called sleeptalking, the lyrics are actually extremely witty. Also I absolutely loved how jooyeon sang the " where am I who am I" line in a sleepy voice as if he's truly sleep talking. From the lyrics to the way they're singing to the song itself(melody...) I think this song is just genius and sadly criminally underrated.

THANK YOU for the run down on the lyrics. I have a new appreciation for this song now. I definitely liked it before, but I understand it better now. When I listen to XH, I tend to listen to whole albums, not individual tracks, and while I don't DISLIKE the next track on this one (Hair Cut), it kind of makes my spine itch, so Overload doesn't get quite as much play as the other two. I'm looking forward to more insights like this from you two on this album. Thanks again!

I love how hello world established their first sounds, with overload they kept on going with it but with a twist to it to start experimenting with their sound, and then the next album went super experimental... I love how they are not afraid to test their sound, and i cant wait for this next album (it sounds to me more screamo, punk rock and i cant have enough!!)

This has been on my Very Long Playlist 1700+ track and my Short Bangers Playlist since it came out. I'll be honest, none of their other stuff has grabbed me like this song, but I have a VERY weird brain when it comes to music and some bands just don't click it. Ateez clicks it, go figure. The song itself is absolutely brilliant, the way the music is put together, the lyrics (to someone who doesn't speak Korean) are great to listen to with and without the meanings. Now -- I don't agree that the music sounds negative. Again, weird brain, I listen to Underworld's Born Slippy to relax sometimes. You guys also underestimate how much people want to listen to you talk about stuff. There's a ton of us out here and on your patreon who will gladly listen to you break down a Whitney Houston album at this point. There's nearly no one out there that has the musical knowledge and appreciation that does it, and it is a joy to turn it on and listen to it. I'd love to do it but my day job wrecks me. One day I hope I have enough energy to pull apart Ateez stuff from music to video production to choreo, but 2023 is not that year.

This is actually my favorite track in Overload (along with Crack in the Mirror). The lyrics are so genius and I just love all their voices. Gunil opening the song is so unique and Ode's voice while rapping and the way he trails off is so fun. I've been trying to learn Korean and it made me happy when I heard "무지개" and was able to recognize it as meaning rainbow LOL
