this is why i think he should not watch covers before actually watching the original. it ruins both experiences because listening to the original for the first time hits different while listening the cover for the first time makes you apreciate it more because of how much personality he put in it and made it different from the original, which you wouldnt even notice if you didnt know the original ecc.

I can literally say that those 3 words from that song may be the most powerful words from an anime song in the past 10 years. It's one of those songs in which it invokes so much emotion because it is an emotional love letter to what you hear......

HELL YEAH! Been waiting literal ages for you to hear it. Though there are 2 unravels. The "normal" unravel and the acoustic version, which is what you've heard. There's also a HUGE difference between the first version and the last one, you gotta hear it cause it's so damn good.

I love this song so much I've heard the lullaby version, an English cover of this song and now this version of TK himself! Love this!!

I honestly love The First Take channel. I feel like that despite the song being a banger on platforms like Spotify, the more elaborate instrumentals take away from the emotion of the song, just a bit. And that's why I like First Take, they give the song with just the raw voice with a few simple instrumental parts. Focusing on mainly the voice gives that original emotion that's lost to overwhelming instrumental. Of course not all songs are like this, but still I appreciate first take.

I was actually humming this exact song when you posted! I've never really listened to any of TK's stuff, but I could tell just from this that they're a really great artist who's SO good at putting so much emotion into their singing! It's amazing! I highly recommend giving a listen to another song I personally really enjoy called "Other side of the moon" by Winks. Was hoping you would have heard of this guy first, he is the original singer that made unravel, instead of that copy that was made in english by that one girl since you would have went into this with no previous experiences. Always prefer hearing the original song before any copycat versions especially when it comes to different languages. Either way glad you heard of the way this song was actually supposed to be heard.

Ok there is a Translation problem in few of the verses, since you focused on the laughing part I will explain the line what is really written in Japanese. In Japanese it actually says “You laugh without a care without seeing a thing.” Basically the person is blaming friend/lover for being next to them but not notice their sufferings.

Lastlive and Parasite Piano are good songs too! The title is in Katakana so 「ラストリヴ」and 「パラサイトピアノ」 I absolutely love your reactions and I like jamming to music with you lmao.
