Why are you echoing?

Elvis could get away with SO MUCH vocally. If we tried singing like that we'd sound amateurish, but with Elvis' tone FORGET IT --- he sounds SO ELITE. Un-reproducible.

I've forced this on a lot of people who made the mistake of getting in my car. I always crank the volume up right before he jumps up an octave to that "tried to do like my daddy told me!" So good. PS was so glad to see this wasn't the version with the overdubbed horns which almost ruin the song (for me anyway).

Doesn't matter what genre he goes to in his music, he is always Elvis. The compassion and emotions from his music feels him up and, therefore, it spills over to the lovers of his music, both the older generation and the new. This is my favorite Elvis album. They stripped all the noise out and all his songs on this puts his voice right up front. It’s only him and the guys he was recording with. This was known as the marathon recordings. The songs I believe went to 3 albums. This went to his Country Album. So glad to see you back. Hi John. Thank you for reacting to that special song!! For me it is a perfect example how Elvis was doing at this time in 1970.. pure fun, in the studio but combined with hard work... for sure Elvis was at his peak... and this "Nashville Monster session", in which he recorded 39 Master takes for the next 3 upcoming Albums shows that his fun had a impact on his "productivity".. and all that besides the new live-shows, first in Vegas and in the Fall of 1970 for a Tour, his first since a long, long time... this Nashville Box shows how Elvis really was.. l love it Thank you, John

Ahhh, there was a harmonica player in the mix, too. No question, James Burton is his usual stellar self on the fills, but JB leaves plenty of room for the harmonicist (Charlie McCoy? I dunno, but you could look it up.), and the harmonicist wastes no time charging in - and charging in again and again. Dude deserves props for his contributions throughout this barreling freight of a performance.

I love this song especially by the one and only Elvis, I also love Tomorrow is a Long Time. I have been looking doe your video reactions for months now. I lost my husband in 2022 , and after I finally watched the ELVIS movie I became obssessed with ELVIS music so turned to his videos everyday ro learn how to sing again. Then I found you and your reaction videos and became obssesed with you. It's nice to see there are many people that really GET Elvis and his music. You seem so genuine in your reactions . When it's a serious song you stay serious but when it's a funny song or Elvis really gets going it.s fun to see the smile on your face. Keep on reacting I enjoy it a lot.

John, can you do a music reaction on a Marty Robbins self-penned tune. I would suggest any of the trilogy songs of "El Paso", "Feleena" or "El Paso City", Some others would be "Till Hell Freezes over", "Begging to You", "My Native Land", "The Dreamer", "The City", "The Bend in the River", "Ave Maria Morales", "Big Iron", "Walking Piece of Heaven, "Lover, Lover" "Another Pack of Cigarettes, Another Glass of Wine", "Devil Woman", "My Woman, My woman, my wife", "Jeannie and Johnny". "Because it's wrong", and "the Master's Call."

I would have liked the song much more if Elvis had kept the chorus at the end to no more repetition than three times; he also didin't have to make the final remarks. Don't get me wrong, I like the majority of Elvis Presley's recorded work and love singing his songs at karaoke.

Mr Gibson, Gentle on my mind, Power of my love, and Stranger in my hometown. Please??
