Jimin is known to be an amazing dancer and performer but his voice is so unique, the emotions he transmits when he sings like wow he is really talented

♦️Jimin wrote the lyrics not only by himself, but was the only one to send his very first draft to the producers, and it was approved, so no need for a rewrite! Of course they did some of the English translation. The lie is the lie he keeps telling himself. Always in the past aiming for perfection and by doing so always questioning and second guessing himself! Although deep inside he knows better! The other lie is telling himself as well as everyone else that everything is alright when it's not!! Jimin has grown and changed, along with the other members since then. All learning to love themselves for who & what they are flaws and all! Jimin is now able to, as his song Promise says, shine the light on himself, as well, speaking up more when things bother him and allowing himself to laugh off whenever he makes any kind of mistake, knowing now he can always perfect or improve on whatever is lacking next time!!

Here's info that some still aren't aware of: ❤️JIMIN, at age 11-12 started studying, performing, & competing (winning every competition), in hip hop, popping (excelled), & street dancing, while attending the renowned Just Dance Academy in Busan where he's from! He was so good that an instructor even had the high tuition fee waived at one point! This was while also attending middle school, where he loved sports, being quite athletic, joined the football team, excellent at track, great at basketball, & billiards! Jimin also, all throughout his schooling, was known as a top scholar, achieving perfect scores, especially in math & science which just always came easy to him! Jimin was even class president for 9 yrs in a row! Jimin, all throughout his schooling, was also quite good in art class, as well as calligraphy. Jimin, then also took up contemporary dance. The media, after seeing a performance of Jimin's performing at a huge Busan Festival Event, called Jimin "The rising star of Busan"!! JIMIN also studied ballet & traditional Korean dance while attending Busan High School of the Arts. Jimin still went to Just Dance Academy to take hip hop classes whenever he could because his first love has always been hip hop, even though he was now majoring in contemporary! JIMIN even had an offer to dance overseas, but declined because he also wanted to become a singer since the 2nd grade, to the dismay of one of his dance instructors who said "The world of dance was going to lose a great artist"!! So Jimin then went and auditioned for BigHit Entertainment, (company BTS is signed with), being the very last member to join, being a trainee for only a few months (which is unheard of for most Kpop idols), as opposed to the 2-3 yrs of being a trainee the other members had! But Jimin was so good that he was assigned the official title of one of the two Main Dancers, as well as Lead Vocalist. Jimin was even assigned most of the high notes since the very beginning, because even without all that training in the beginning, he was that good, a natural born singer who, just like his dancing makes you feel every emotion and feeling he's trying to convey! JIMIN, also, for 8 yrs, since a quite young boy, trained in various forms (4), of martial arts: Taekwondo (Blackbelt), Hapkido, Kumdo (Korean form of Kendo), & Chinese martial arts. He even won a scholarship, the only student to do so, to study more extensively in China for awhile! All the martial arts training has given JIMIN his phenomenal inner core strength, as well as his amazing flexibility, which has enabled Jimin to achieve all those breathtakingly spectacular gravity defying dance moves! JIMIN has found a way to incorporate all his various dance disciplines, as well as his extensive training in martial arts into his unique, ever so special, outstandingly amazing dancing abilities!! JIMIN, has been called 'Stage Commander', known for his amazing, so mesmerizing stage presence. Each dance move is executed flawlessly, his extensions all the way to the fingertips, his lines so clean, his fluidity, his poise & elegance, his ever so graceful moves, but yet, sharp, quick & deliberate when required! I can't forget the shock when I first saw Jimin's LIE performance. Jimin was already the best performer of K-pop at that young age of 20. To be honest, I've never seen better performer than Jimin so far.

When i first discovered lie, i was pulling an all nighter for exam preparations. i listened to it on repeat whole night. that's the power of jimin's vocals. and then of course i came across his performance and was blown away by his intricate dance

This was a great reaction, thank you Jacob 🙏💜 Jimin co-wrote and composed the song, although he isn’t credited as a producer. It was released on the Wings album in October 2016, around his 21st birthday - probably written while he was still just 20 years old - I think that is pretty impressive, the melody is so good… He is always a brilliant performer, I think he was born for it.

Lie is sickeningly good song itself and Jimin slayed with his live performance. It has become legendary rookie's bible now. This will be forever the best of best.

The thing is though, sadly in stage mixes, though I can understand how this way it's best to break down the music, & instrumentation, but sadly, the vocals are dubbed in in stage mix versions. Where as the real live full version if it was reacted to, you'd realize that Jimin indeed is in actuality, singing doing all his own vocals live (except for 'caught in a lie") but other then that he's singing all verses himself while doing the ever so strenuous, as well as so amazing choreography that he executes, dances, to perfection! Jimin is even doing his own vocals when being lifted into the air, laying flat and prone which is not easy to do!!
