Your explanation is very clear and easy to understand even for amateurs like me 😸thank U for this video
I love how she incorporates music that we hear daily to show the meanings. College textbook samples don't help at all!!
Thank you so much for the upload!! I have needed this all semester in my music appreciation class!!

Thank you so much this was so helpful! It's so clear. I needed that.
Thank you for creating this. I was just getting ready to create a video for my students. This just saved me a few hours.Perfect examples.
This was actually REALLY helpful. I'm taking survey of western classical music in college as an elective. No idea why, but this really helped with where I was struggling!
This makes so much sense!
Hi I want to say that I really appreciate this video with clear-cut simple explanation of the different musical textures.
As an aspiring composer, i don't know how to thank you enough. I'm rather sure that i saved a lot of time thanks to the your video. I really appreciate it. I already subscribed the channel.
I just bumped into this... by far the best collection for young musicians. A million thank yous.
This is amazing how you explained it so perfectly well! Thank you!!
Thank you sooo much! It really helped me understand our lesson! Now I can do our presentation in Music well because of this ☺️
Andre Rieu, how cool. He was the favorite musician from my grandfather. And thanks for the simple understanding examples.
Thank you so much for this video. My teacher taught me this lesson and I didn’t really understand it that well and I got a poor grade on our quiz. Watching this video though really helped me learn it better! Thank you.
Wow learned more here then I have in the last couple of hours for my music appreciation class THANK YOU !!!!!
Thanks! So informative. Puts it simply & well. Plus incorporates a nice load of MODERN music to keep a viewer I'll be showing this to - who knows little about classical music or music theory - connected/interested in the subject. I PARTICULARLY liked the textural analysis of the '80s pop standard 'Come On Eileen': I'd never noticed this before! :-)
This is what "less is more" looks like. Less = 5-minute video. More = I learned SO much in such a short amount of time. And it's the exact information I was looking for. Now I can expand upon this. . . . THANK YOU!

Excelente canal, parabéns! Acompanho o conteúdo aqui do sul do Brasil.
Thank you
Notice! It was great thx.
i love that you use popular music :)
My teacher actually showed this in front of our class! This actually helped but the volume in the tv (we use a TV instead of a projector) was just too much so it made it look disorted, i actually watched it again here. So that it would not be sound distorted again!

I'm such an EXO fan that when I watched this lesson, I started to think about EXO songs and know whether they are monophonic, homophonic or polyphonic. I'm pretty sure thy have a heterophonic kind of songs too. I hope they can release more so I have new songs to listen to from them
thank you for this i was so confused lol

having a music midterm tomorrow thank you
loved it
This video was gas. Thank you.
Really helpful, thank you
The mono mixtape of RM draged me here to get some knowledge about monophonic.
Thx sooo much, seriously helped me with the understanding. You should definitely make more videos like this
Thank you so much this helped a lot in my music exam.😊
If I'm understanding the idea of texture and layers properly, I'm thinking the song "Moaner" by Underworld would be an excellent example. It's hard techno, but people should take a listen if they're interested in music theory. I love it because it's so complex. As best as I can see, Including beats and vocals, it starts with 3 layers/sounds and adds one at a time all the way up to 9 layers. It's fascinating how 9 different beats and sounds can interplay so seamlessly all at once. It's quite intense. I'd love to hear anyone's opinions if they listen to it.
such a savior
Thank you so much

Thank. You. So. Much
Excelente!!
Great video even for beginners like me
Thank you!!! My students are studying texture. Perfecto!
i understand very well
Thank you for the video. Having to take classes for my education degree and not knowing anything about the class is hard to learn, study and pass exams when the information is all completely new to me. I have always loved music but never have had the opportunity to learn or have the right type of learning environment to make it worth the time or energy to retain to grasp the subject.
woah thanks
Excellent
Finally... thank you very much for the very clear explanation!
Needed this! Thank you so much
Nice lecture! Interesting examples. Who would've known an eighties group like Dexy's Midnight Runners was so complex!
Thank you this is just what I needed.
1:24 monophonic with guitars in octaves with percussion
