This festival is celebrated specially in the state of 'Gujarat' this happens every year in either September or October (Date varies every year based on hindu calender). Cities like Ahmedabad, Varodara and Surat are well known to celebrate this festival. This goes on for 9 nights. It is my favourite festival

If u want too want to experience in person then visit India during the Navratri(Garba) festive season that is mainly in September ending or October.
